Pixar World Exhibition Makes Its Japan Debut, Tokyo, March 20–May 31, 2026
The immersive experience produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Pixar World Exhibition: Journey into the Story Worlds You've Always Dreamed Of, is confirmed to make its first stop in Japan! The event will be held from March 20, 2026 to May 31, 2026 at CREVIA BASE Tokyo in Toyosu, Tokyo.
The Pixar World Exhibition, supervised and curated by Pixar Animation Studios, presents the worlds of Pixar works as a full-space immersive exhibition. To date the exhibition has toured 9 cities across 7 countries worldwide, including Barcelona (Spain), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Seoul (South Korea), and London (United Kingdom), attracting over 3.5 million visitors in total and enjoying great popularity. This Tokyo showing will complete the long-awaited first appearance in Japan.
Pixar Films' Iconic Scenes Presented at Life-Size Scale
The exhibition will faithfully recreate iconic scenes from the films at full, life-size scale. Visitors can stroll through the settings and experience the worlds of Pixar animation firsthand.
See Toy Story Favorites and Other Iconic Characters
One of the exhibition's major appeals is encountering life-size characters that seem to have stepped right out of the films. In addition to the Toy Story series, which will welcome its fifth installment in 2026, and classic characters from Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo, the show also features characters from recent hits such as Coco and Inside Out. The venue will bring together more than 24 lifelike characters.
