This one-day workshop offers a rare chance to learn directly from Natsuki Otake, a popular contemporary artist known for her vivid, pop-style wax-dyed works of girls.
In this 3-hour class, you will:
1️⃣ Draw your own design on fabric2️⃣ Use melted wax with a brush to create resist lines3️⃣ Prepare and apply dyes with water for soft, colorful effects4️⃣ Wash the fabric in hot water to remove the wax5️⃣ Rinse, dry, and reveal your unique creation
Guided carefully in a small group setting, you’ll explore both the beauty of color and the quiet rhythm of Japanese craftsmanship.
