Nagasaki's stunning European theme park Huis Ten Bosch is hosting its very own Halloween festival! For two months, the park will be holding a wide variety of events. Enjoy Kyushu's largest firework festival, spooky parades, and award-winning illuminations across the venue!

Halloween Parade and Trick or Treat Event

A Halloween parade full of adorable characters and spooky music will be marching through the streets of Huis Ten Bosch each day!

The Halloween-themed floats will be adorned with hauntingly beautiful decorations and famous characters such as Miffy will be greeting guests and welcoming them to this entertaining event.

As the grounds are filled with colorful costumes and spooky music, guests can dance along to the parade. Children have the opportunity to go trick or treating by visiting the halls of local shops and giving a secret password.

Illuminated Halloween Night Walk

The Halloween festival at Huis Ten Bosch is especially magical at night! As lanterns and fireworks take to the sky, pumpkin-lit lanterns can be seen paving the grounds of the Illuminati Art Gardens.

Visitors can enjoy exploring the venue as spooky melodies from the night concert fill the atmosphere. Upgraded and relocated due to the display's popularity in previous years, the Halloween Night Walk sits in the town's magnificent light-up area, which has been awarded first place in the Illumination Awards for 10 years straight!

Autumn Gourmet Festival and Wine Festival

Wine and dine at the Autumn Gourmet Festival in this spooky yet romantic event! The Canal Terrace Bar will have a variety of gourmet food for visitors to choose from, as well as a Wine Festival that includes over 100 wines.

On the tower city terrace, guests can enjoy a luxurious romantic meal while being surrounded by illuminations and live music.

Spectacular Lantern Night Show

Visitors can marvel at a lantern-filled sky this autumn! Originally created to be one of the theme park's limited-time summer events, the spectacular lantern night show has been extended until November 5 due to high demand!

The event takes place every night. Please note the lantern show will not take place when there is a fireworks display.

Kyushu's Biggest Fireworks Festival

Coinciding with the Halloween festival, Kyushu's biggest firework display will illuminate the European nightscape!

Scheduled for October 7, the display has been skillfully planned by award-winning pyrotechnicians from Japan and America. A beautiful combination of 22,000 gigantic dazzling fireworks alongside European buildings and riverscapes the festival is one you won't want to miss.

Halloween Night Fireworks

For five nights from September to November, the lantern show will be halted while guests marvel at a nightful of 2,000 brimming fireworks, painting the sky above the park!

Special seats for the best views of the fireworks can be booked for 1,000 yen on the website. There are also accommodation plans that can be booked so families can watch the dazzling displays comfortably from their hotel rooms.
