[Ishikawa/Toyama/Fukui] Autumn foliage spots in Toyama Prefecture | 2023 edition

Takaoka Castle Park

Built in 1609 by Toshinaga Maeda, the second generation head of the Kaga Maeda family, approximately 1/3 of the park is covered by water moat. Just like the spring cherry blossom viewing season, this is a famous spot that attracts many visitors during the fall foliage season.

Tateyama Bijodaira

Jinzu Gorge

A beautiful gorge with a length of approximately 15km carved by the Takahara River and Miyagawa River originating in the Chubu Mountains, merging with the Jinzu River. National Route 41, which runs along the Jinzu River, is a perfect driving course where you can enjoy the breath-taking views alongside.

Kurobe Gorge
