Noto Peninsula Earthquake Toyama Prefecture Sake Brewery Recovery Support Project “Drinking Campaign”

ATOM Co., Ltd. and TOYAMATO Co., Ltd. are working as urban development companies in Toyama to support those affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2020, which had its epicenter in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, as well as the reconstruction of the affected areas. We will think about what we can do to support the disaster-affected areas by creating a circle of compassion.

As the first step in supporting the recovery of areas affected by this disaster, we are now accepting applications for the "Toyama Sake Brewery Support Course," which includes Toyama's sake, specialty products, and snacks. A portion of the sales from this campaign will be donated to relief funds and support funds.

Please apply from this application form

Message from the planner

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the recent Noto Peninsula earthquake.

On January 1, 2024, in Toyama Prefecture, I felt the strongest shaking of an earthquake I have ever experienced. Fortunately, everyone at Mitomi, including staff and their families, was confirmed safe and there were no life-threatening injuries.

However, many companies and tourist facilities in Toyama Prefecture, including Mitomi, are currently facing economic losses. Furthermore, many sake breweries in the prefecture are experiencing problems with their facilities, such as sake bottles and cracked walls coming off.

Even if you are unable to come to Toyama Prefecture, picking up Toyama Prefecture products will lead to direct support and reconstruction efforts. From now on, Mitomi will continue to do whatever we can to give back to Toyama's sake breweries on a daily basis.

Although it is a small effort, we are implementing this campaign with the goal of helping Toyama recover as soon as possible and attracting more people to Toyama. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

(Bar de Mitomi manager Tsuda)
