View of the night sky from Ikko, "Moon Road" and "Fireworks"
The spectacular views that can be seen from Ikko are not limited to the sea and sky.
First of all, on a full moon night, there is the "Moon Road," a moonlit road drawn on the surface of the sea. It can only be seen in the eastern Pacific coast of Japan. Why not try spending a mysterious and luxurious night here?

You can also watch the fireworks from Ikko.
To coincide with the Ishibiki Dokan Festival Fireworks Display, a traditional festival in Higashiizu, which will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, we are selling a special plan to watch the fireworks that will serve as the finale to the festival.
You can enjoy the fireworks in a private space without being disturbed by anyone in the "special seat" of the open-air bath, which is limited to two groups per day. You can also watch the fireworks that light up the night sky of Izu Atagawa from your room while sipping on a full bottle of high-quality Koshu wine "Rubaiyat."

By the way, what is the traditional festival of Higashiizu, the Ishibiki Dokan Festival Fireworks Display?
The "Ishibiki Dokan Festival Fireworks Display" in Atagawa, Izu is a traditional festival that recreates the "Oishibiki" stone-carrying work that has been passed down since the time of Tokugawa Ieyasu. The name "Oishibiki" comes from the fact that stones from the Izu Peninsula were selected for their ease of processing and fire resistance when expanding the stone walls of Edo Castle, and were then transported by boat from ports around Izu to Edo. This festival is held to convey this historical transportation work to the present day.
