Nagoya Castle often comes to mind when you mention Nagoya sightseeing spots.

Both ends of the castle keep are adorned with two golden shachihoko, which are mythical tiger-headed fish. So the castle is also known as Kinkojo, the Golden Tiger-Fish Castle. The castle was designated a national historic site and is one of only a few castles in Japan that feature early modern castle-wall architecture.
