See the First Sunrise of 2026 at Tokyo Skytree! Special Event Details

Tokyo Skytree® will host a Special New Year's Sunrise Event on January 1, 2026.

This event will allow 800 guests to enjoy the first sunrise of the year from the observation deck. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so please apply early from the Tokyo Skytree official website.

Tokyo Skytree® Special New Year's Sunrise Event

Time: 5:30 AM – 7:30 AM (Entry time 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM)
Tickets Available: 800 guests

Tickets can be purchased through one of the following methods.

1. Online First-Come, First-Served Reservation (540 Tickets)

*Sales will end as soon as the allotted tickets are sold out, as this is first-come, first-served. A maximum of 5 tickets can be purchased per application.

Sales Price: 9,000 yen (tax included)
*This price includes the special operating observation deck admission tickets (Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria) and a 1,000 yen SKYTREE SHOP voucher.

2. Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo & Asakusa Tobu Hotel: 5 groups (10 guests)

4. Special Invitation Campaign for Tobu Card Members: 25 groups (50 guests)

For this campaign, applicants who use their registered Tobu Card credit for a total amount of 10,000 yen (tax included) within Tokyo Solamachi® using the TOBU POINT app will be eligible to enter the lottery.

Application Period: October 25 – December 1, 2024 (Sunday)

Other Information

1. In the event that visibility is poor due to weather conditions on the day, it may not be possible to view the first sunrise. Please note that there will be no refunds for admission tickets in such cases.

2. If the pre-sale tickets do not reach the maximum limit, there is a possibility that tickets will be sold on the day of the event.

3. Please be aware that the planned number of tickets for sale is subject to change without prior notice.

Tokyo Skytree will adjust its opening hours on January 1 (Thursday, public holiday) to start at 8:00 AM.

Additionally, from December 27, 2025 (Saturday) to January 4, 2025 (Sunday), the operating hours will be extended, making it a great opportunity to visit alongside New Year’s shrine visits.
