Huis Ten Bosch, the renowned theme park resort in Nagasaki that embodies the theme of a different world, has announced its 2025 Christmas celebration, running from November 7, 2025, to January 5, 2026. This year's event, titled European Holy Christmas, promises a series of immersive holiday experiences, including the debut of Japan’s first-ever Grand Chandelier Tree.

Japan’s First Grand Chandelier Tree

Standing approximately 15 meters tall, this innovative Christmas tree is modeled after a chandelier. It is decorated with countless lights and crystals that reflect warm, intricate glimmers, creating a mesmerizing display. This unprecedented tree, the largest of its kind in Japan, offers visitors a once-in-a-lifetime visual experience that combines luxurious design with festive grandeur.

Spectacular Night Show – Melody of Christmas

Each evening during the event, visitors can enjoy the Melody of Christmas, a night show centered around the illuminated Grand Chandelier Tree. Featuring live performances by a choir and synchronized lighting, the show transforms the square into a breathtaking spectacle filled with music and light, delivering a heartfelt and memorable holiday experience.

Christmas Square and Market

At the heart of the park, Amsterdam City becomes the Christmas Square, decorated with over 360 degrees of European-style ornaments and Christmas decor. The square hosts a bustling Christmas Market with numerous shops selling ornaments, wreaths, festive foods, drinks, and gifts—recreating the authentic atmosphere of a European holiday celebration. Special Santa greetings are also available, making it an ideal spot for family memories.

Bright Illumination and Light Shows

Huis Ten Bosch is known for its illumination displays, and this season, the Shower of Lights night show will continue with even more grandeur. Visitors can experience vibrant light displays, dynamic fountain shows reaching up to 20 meters, and searchlights from Dome Tower at 105 meters, all culminating in a display of fireworks that lights up the night sky (excluding November 15, the Kyushu’s Largest Fireworks Festival).

Fireworks Celebrations

Multiple fireworks displays are scheduled throughout the holiday season, including special shows for Christmas, year-end, and New Year’s celebrations. Notable events include fireworks on December 24 and 25, a Grand Finale Fireworks show from December 26 to 30, and a countdown fireworks display on December 31. The Mariera Dinner Cruise offers guests the chance to enjoy a luxurious meal aboard a vessel while viewing fireworks from the water.
