We will meet at a hotel in Hiroshima City or at JR Hiroshima Station and efficiently visit the city's main spots in the afternoon. First, we will walk through Peace Memorial Park, visiting symbolic sites such as the Atomic Bomb Dome and memorial monuments with explanations from our guide. Next, we will enter the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum to understand the situation at the time and the steps toward reconstruction through the exhibits. Afterwards, we will change the atmosphere and visit Shukkei-en Garden, a famous strolling garden. Enjoy the scenery of stones, trees, and ponds, and spend time experiencing Hiroshima's peaceful daily life and aesthetic sense. This is a half-day course that offers a well-balanced experience of "learning" and "healing".
