Osaka Hirakata Park Rose Festival: Where 600 Varieties Bloom
Hirakata Park Rose Festival showcases 600 rose varieties with early‑morning walks, expert tours, photo spots and rose treats in Osaka from April 25–May 24 2026.

Hirakata Park will celebrate spring with its long‑running Rose Festival from April 25 to May 24, 2026, turning the park’s English‑style rose garden into a fragrant, photo‑ready destination.

Rooted in a historic garden established in 1955 by rose expert Kanjiro Okamoto, the site now showcases roughly 600 rose varieties and 4,000 bushes, from rare old roses to contemporary cultivars.

The festival mixes guided tours, live violin recitals, early‑morning scent walks and seasonal food and souvenirs so visitors can enjoy roses with all five senses.
