Fullmetal Alchemist × Daemons of the Shadow Realm Exhibition in Tokyo

The Fullmetal Alchemist × Daemons of the Shadow Realm Exhibition will be held at Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo from August 13 to September 2, 2026.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist and the 5th anniversary of Daemons of the Shadow Realm, the exhibition brings together more than 300 original drawings and rough sketches from the two manga series.

Visitors can also enjoy large-scale displays, exclusive merchandise, and a limited-time collaboration café.

After Tokyo, the exhibition will travel to Sapporo, Kanazawa, Osaka, and Nagoya.

More than 300 original drawings and rough sketches will be displayed throughout the exhibition, offering a closer look at Hiromu Arakawa’s creative process.

The venue will also feature displays inspired by memorable elements from both series, including a telephone booth from Fullmetal Alchemist and statues of Left and Right from Daemons of the Shadow Realm.

A new main image drawn especially for the exhibition by Hiromu Arakawa has also been unveiled.

Fullmetal Alchemist Area

The Fullmetal Alchemist exhibition features life-size recreations of iconic characters, legendary scenes, and famous magical objects from the series. You can even take photos with a Homunculus!

As you explore, character voiceovers play throughout select displays to bring the scenes to life.

Alongside stunning original artwork, the venue offers plenty of immersive photo spots where you can step directly into the world of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm Area

The Daemons of the Shadow Realm exhibition opens with an impressive display of Left and Right, followed by a dedicated exhibit celebrating Gabby.

Visitors can explore recreated scenes, interactive photo spots, and a vast collection of original artwork—inviting you to admire every intricate detail and fully immerse yourself in Hiromu Arakawa's masterful work.

Fullmetal Alchemist × Daemons of the Shadow Realm Exhibition Merchandise

A wide selection of commemorative goods will be available at the venue.

Highlights include art mirrors, a Fullmetal Alchemist music box with an acrylic stand, Daemons of the Shadow Realm trading acrylic stand keychains, and embroidered patches inspired by the two series.

Other items include an original tea set with two character-shaped tea bags and a randomly selected sticker.

There are also comics and exhibition art books with more than 300 color illustrations!

Besides T-shirts, accessories, and stationery, fans can also pick up Screw Chocolate, novelty chocolate pieces shaped like nuts and bolts that can actually be screwed together.

For every 3,000 yen spent, including tax, in the merchandise area, visitors will receive one randomly selected ticket-style card from a total of 10 designs.

Limited Postcards and Official Exhibition Book

Special advance tickets are available with exclusive bonuses.

One ticket includes a set of five postcards featuring the exhibition’s main visual, while another comes with the Fullmetal Alchemist × Daemons of the Shadow Realm OFFICIAL EXHIBITION BOOK.

A combined ticket including both items is also available.

The postcard set is not scheduled to be sold separately, while the official exhibition book will also be available individually at the venue.

Collaboration Café at Matsuya Ginza

A limited-time collaboration café will also be held at MG Café inside Matsuya Ginza during the Tokyo exhibition.

Visitors can stop by the café alongside their exhibition visit and enjoy another way to experience the worlds of Fullmetal Alchemist and Daemons of the Shadow Realm.

Tokyo Exhibition Tickets

Tickets for the Tokyo exhibition require a designated date and entry time. Advance admission-only tickets are available until 23:59 on August 12, with same-day tickets available from August 13, subject to availability.

Preschool children can enter free of charge.
