Huis Ten Bosch, Nagasaki's acclaimed theme park resort, is taking its autumn festivities to an unprecedented scale from September 18 to November 3, 2026.

The event blends the resort's stunning European-style scenery with a Haunted Halloween horror zone for thrill-seekers, a heartwarming Miffy Halloween celebration for families, a massive seasonal gourmet festival, and a spectacular night show.

Brand-New Character and Cruising in Haunted Halloween

The park’s highly popular Haunted Halloween event returns with terrifying new additions centered around Palace Huis Ten Bosch.

The horror begins with the arrival of the Death King, a giant and eerie new tyrant who joins pirates and mummies wandering the palace grounds. Once the scares subside, the atmosphere shifts as these dark emissaries launch into a revamped dance night show.

Featuring entirely new music and choreography, this addictive performance turns fear into a high-energy celebration where visitors can dance along with the monsters.

For the ultimate thrill, a limited-time horror experience aboard the cruise ship Mariela traps guests on the water, forcing them to survive a claustrophobic, zombie-infested voyage.

Please note that Haunted Halloween events at the Palace do not run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Miffy's First-Ever Costume Parade

For a completely heartwarming experience, the Miffy Halloween celebration brings beloved characters to the streets in special seasonal attire.

During the lively Miffy and Friends Halloween Party Parade, guests can witness a historic first as Miffy, Melanie, Boris the Bear, and Grunty the Pig march through Amsterdam City dressed in adorable costumes.

These beloved characters will delight crowds disguised as witches, pirates, wizards, and knights, inviting everyone to join in the dancing, snap memorable photos, and receive special seasonal treats.

The magic continues over at Miffy Wonder Square, where visitors can enjoy a special greeting experience featuring Ghost Miffy in her signature bedsheet ghost costume.
