Cat-shaped baked goods are very popular in Japan. The latest addition to the adorable trend comes from ALL HEARTS and is called NEKO NEKO CHEESECAKE.

The company already offers a popular cat-themed product with its NEKO NEKO SHOKUPAN. Neko is the Japanese word for cat and shokupan means loaf of bread.

As of now, the cat head shaped bread comes in four flavors: plain, chocolate, azuki bean, and strawberry milk. They can be ordered in sets, starting from 2,980 yen before tax.

The new cheesecake is made with Brie de Meaux. In the 19th century, this particular cheese was declared “the king of cheeses” by French diplomat Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Perigord.

The creamy cheese filling is baked into an adorable cat head-shaped tart crust and topped with ALL HEARTS homemade apricot jam. This cake boasts a sophisticated flavor balance of creamy and tart.

The eleven-centimeter tart retails for 1,800 yen before tax. It comes in an adorable take out box stating “NEKO and PEACE”. The cheesecake, as well as the bread, are available for purchase in their online shop (Japanese).
