1. Shimanto Canoe and Camp Village Kawarakko

" Shimanto Canoe and Camp Village Kawarakko " is located on the banks of the Shimanto River, surrounded by rich nature.

In addition to the campsite , there is also a fully equipped bungalow and Shimanto Hinoki House . It is also the terminal for Rinrin Cycle .

The gentle flow of the Shimanto River spreads out near the campsite, and even beginners can easily enjoy canoeing and saps. This is an auto campsite where you can fully enjoy the Shimanto River.

You can choose canoe touring (down the Shimanto River), experience canoe , SUP touring , or SAP experience . We also carry MEGA SUP, which has excellent stability.

🐶You can ride with your pet (tandem kayak) *Please bring your own life jacket for your pet. It may not be possible to ride along depending on the size etc.

2.withRIVER

`` withRIVER '' is located at the foot of the submerged bridge on the Shimanto River.

The current is gentle, so it is safe for beginners and small children. At the end of the tour, you can also experience diving from a submerged bridge .

In addition to canoeing and SUP experiences, you can also try horseback riding .

In addition to regular walks, there is also a course where you can try horseback riding along the Shimanto River . Because the horseback riding is where you can touch your feet, even children and people who can't swim can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

3. Shimanto River Inn Yube-tei

`` Shimanto River Inn Yuubetei '' is a vacation rental type inn that is limited to one group per day and is located on a hill overlooking the Shimanto River. You can spend a relaxing time with your family, group, or couple.

There is a terrace where you can enjoy a barbecue while watching the sunset.

You can experience River Sup from Yube-tei. The owner will customize a course to suit your needs. We also rent supboards. Please apply when making your accommodation reservation .

The SUP experience is only open during the summer .

4. River Sap Sora Miru Shimanto

`` River Sap Sora Miru Shimanto '' is a pro shop that mainly operates Sap and Canadian canoe lessons, tour guides, and product sales on the Shimanto River, Yoshino River, and Lake Sameura that flow through Kochi. We can talk to you about anything related to canoes and SUPs.

At the Shimanto River, you can experience river sap . A guide will accompany you and provide guidance , so even first-timers can enjoy the experience with confidence.

You can experience it with your children .

5. Okera Adventures Shimanto

" Okera Adventures Shimanto " mainly engages in " bike rafting, " which is a combination of cycling and river rafting on a packraft ( rubber board ). We are the only place in Japan that constantly offers guided bike rafting tours. (*Research by Okera Adventures in March 2022)

We are open for private tours only , and can only be enjoyed by groups. The guide will arrange the tour according to the customers, the weather, and the situation.

6. Shimanto Green

At Shimanto Green , you can experience Shikoku's first foot rowing experience on the Shimanto River.

Because it is a type of paddle that is stepped on with your feet, it is characterized by being easier to navigate compared to canoes and SUPs.

You can change direction by operating the lever on the handle, making it easy for even beginners to enjoy.

Even children, women, and the elderly can move smoothly and easily.

You can choose a touring course starting in the morning or a short course starting in the afternoon. For those who want to enjoy it to the fullest, try the morning touring course. For those who don't have time or are not confident in their physical strength, we recommend the short afternoon course.

7. Shimanto River Station Canoe Hall

" Shimanto River Station Canoe Hall " is attractive because of the magnificent nature in the second half of the tour.

The attached Shimanto Hiroba Auto Campground is also equipped with toilets and a barbecue site. You can enjoy camping near the Shimanto River. (*Advance reservation required)

There are canoeing classes for beginners, and you can take basic half-day and full-day courses under the guidance of an instructor.

You can experience an 8km canoe trip to Iwama Submerged Bridge, which is famous on TV and in magazines.

For the last 4km of the course, there are almost no man-made objects in sight, allowing you to fully enjoy the great nature of the Shimanto River . The canoe hall is also a river station that exhibits canoes from around the world, and is also the terminal for the Shimanto River Rinrin Cycle .

8. Shimanto Gakusha

`` Shimanto Rakusha '' is an abandoned school building that has been reborn and is a school where you can stay and have fun.

The accommodation space is the same as the infirmary, and bunk beds have been installed in the classrooms. You can also stay in the broadcasting room where school broadcasts can be made or the principal's office.

You can choose between canoe touring or canoe experience.

Since the canoe experience does not involve going down the river, you can decide the experience time yourself . The feature is that you can freely ride a canoe with your family while going for a spin or playing in the river.

In addition to canoeing, there are experiences such as walking in the river ( shower climbing ), playing on a raft , and leisurely fishing in the Shimanto River.

9.Canoe Shimanto Base

" Canoe Shimanto Base " is a tour that uses only sit-on canoes . You can choose from two types: a half-day course (morning/afternoon) that includes a 3km river cruise, or a short course that does not include a 3km river cruise.

All canoes are for one person and are available in two sizes . You can choose the canoe that suits you.

The half-day course is available from 3rd grade elementary school students, and the short course is available from 1st grade elementary school students. Short-term courses are reserved for groups of 1 to 10 people.

10. Good River Shimanto

At Good River Shimanto, you can enjoy a canoe tour to the fullest on the Shimanto River. He will give lectures on everything from how to ride a canoe, how to paddle, and how to enjoy canoeing.

The Downriver Course does not have many man-made structures, so you can be healed by the magnificent nature. You can take a commemorative photo at the popular Iwama Submerged Bridge .

We also offer rafting tours , where you can enjoy a leisurely and elegant trip down the gentle Shimanto River on a raft boat. It can be enjoyed by everyone from children as young as 3 years old to the elderly.
