Okazaki Digital Art Night Festival Ieyasu's Birthday 2023 Okazaki Castle Keep & Otemon Gate Projection Mapping

The "Okazaki Digital Art Night Festival: Ieyasu's Birth 2023 Okazaki Castle Tower & Otemon Gate Projection Mapping" produced by Ikki Co., Ltd. will be held at Okazaki Park (Okazaki Castle Tower & Otemon Gate) (Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) from Saturday, December 23rd to Tuesday, December 26th, 2023. (Organizers: Okazaki City, Okazaki City Nighttime Economy Promotion Council)

This event will project digital art content using projection mapping images based on the culture and history of Okazaki City and its traditional industry, Mikawa Fireworks, onto the main tower of Okazaki Castle, one of Japan's 100 most famous castles and the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Projection mapping images will also be projected onto Okazaki Park's main entrance, Otemon Gate, which is 16.4 meters wide and 11 meters high.

In addition, in conjunction with the projection mapping, there will be a digital illumination of the Sugokawabata stone walls of the Otsugawa River Green Space.

Viewing is free and no prior registration is required.

Please enjoy the projection mapping that will brighten up the night of Okazaki with cutting-edge digital art in conjunction with the finale of the NHK Taiga Drama "What Will Ieyasu Do?" and "What Will Ieyasu Do? Okazaki Taiga Drama Museum."
