What is a beach tent sauna event filled with scent and art?

This community aims to revitalize the region in Nakajima, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture by combining the island's specialty product, the island mandarin orange, with art. We will create a community that can contribute to the sustainable development of the island, creating an opportunity for people who don't know about Nakajima to get to know it, and encouraging those who have a connection to Nakajima to fall in love with Nakajima even more.

This time, a real event will be held in Nakajima. An aroma oil distillation experience using Nakajima's specialty citrus peel. The aromatic distilled water produced during the distillation process can be used as a wax for tent saunas, allowing you to enjoy an intense experience filled with the scent of citrus.
Additionally, students from Matsuyama City's Kawahara Design College will enliven the event with light and art productions.

How to enjoy aroma oil distillation and tent sauna

◆Aroma oil distillation experience

A rare experience where participants can distill their own aromatic oil using the peel of citrus fruits from the island. You can also participate in an aroma oil spray making experience and an aroma foot bath and treatment.

◆Tent sauna experience

 A relaxing experience filled with the scent of citrus using aroma distilled water. We are preparing a Goemon bath and a bonfire. Night-time is a light art production by students of Kawahara Design College♪

Content: An online drinking party-style roundtable discussion where we can drink wine from Hiroshima and Shiojiri and discuss regional revitalization from the perspective of wine, grapes, and agriculture.

・Form: The sauna area is a mixed bathing area for men and women wearing swimsuits (changing rooms, showers, and toilets are separate for men and women)

・Contents: Includes use of tent sauna, aroma louryu, vihta, firewood, bonfire, outdoor bath space, changing room, lockers, shower, and toilet. You can freely use the tent sauna (2 tents) of your choice. Please bring your own swimwear, towels, sandals, ponchos, etc.

・Matsuyama City Ports - Nakajima Nakajima can be accessed by ferry or high-speed boat from Matsuyama City's Mitsuhama Port, Takahama Port, and Tourist Port. Please disembark at Oura Port or Kamiura Port.
