Kunisaki City, Oita Prefecture is holding the region's first acclaimed treasure-searching event while sightseeing!

This event, which is being held for the first time in Kunisaki City, has become a hot topic and many people are participating, as it can be enjoyed while sightseeing around the city. Regarding this project, which is a new attempt that will lead to the revitalization of the region, a roundtable discussion was held between Takuharu Matsui (Mayor of Kunisaki), who also requested the treasure hunting event, and the representative of the treasure hunting specialist company Takarush.

■It all started with a request from Kunisaki City.

Mayor Matsui: Kunisaki City has many great tourist spots. Located in the eastern part of the Kunisaki Peninsula in Oita Prefecture, surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea and rich mountains, it is known as the birthplace of the syncretism of Shinto and Buddhism, and is home to approximately 1,300 Rokugo Manzan culture, a unique mountain religious culture where God and Buddha coexist. It has been around for many years and is still alive in the area. Elderly people and foreign tourists come to see the spiritual elements. This time, we commissioned Takarash, who has the most experience in treasure hunting, to create the treasure hunt event, with the hope that not only tourists but also young people and other people would come to Kunisaki City through the treasure hunt event.
