Starbucks Roastery Tokyo 2026: SAKURA Terrace and Menus
Book Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo’s SAKURA Terrace 2026! Enjoy Meguro River cherry blossom views with exclusive Sakura themed menus and limited edition drinks.
As the banks of the Meguro River prepare to transform into a sea of pale pink, Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo has announced the return of its highly coveted, reservation-only viewing experience.
Starting March 23, 2026, the ROASTERY TOKYO SAKURA Terrace will offer guests a rare sanctuary of calm amidst the peak-season crowds, providing what many consider the best seats in the house for Japan’s most iconic spring ritual.

This year’s program introduces a dual-themed approach, catering to both the serene energy of the afternoon and the sophisticated glow of the evening.

The Daytime Picnic Plan invites guests to soak in the spring sun with a curated basket of gourmet sandwiches from the famed Italian bakery, Princi®.
As the sun sets and the riverside trees are illuminated, the terrace shifts into the Evening Pan-Nomi Plan, a chic bread and drinks concept featuring savory antipasto paired with fine wines, craft beers, or signature coffee-infused cocktails.
Highlights
Guaranteed Prime Viewing (The Royal Seat)

Skip the riverbank congestion and the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds. This plan secures a dedicated spot on the 3rd-floor terrace, which is positioned at the perfect height to be level with the cherry blossoms. It offers an unobstructed, eye-level view of the famous Meguro River tunnels of flowers that most people only see from below.
Day and Night Transformations

The experience is split into two distinct moods. The Picnic Plan (9:00 – 14:00) focuses on the Hanami tradition under bright blue skies, while the Evening Plan (16:30 onwards) highlights the Yozakura (night sakura) aesthetic.
As the lights hit the trees, the terrace atmosphere shifts to a lounge-like setting with sophisticated lighting and a more mature vibe.
Artisanal Catering by Princi®

The food isn't just a snack; it’s a full culinary journey. Expect handcrafted items like the Cornetti Sandwich Prosciutto Cotto & Pecorino (a savory take on the classic Italian croissant) and the Seafood Genovese Calzone.
For the evening sessions, the menu pivots to Pan-Nomi, a Japanese trend of pairing high-quality bread with alcohol, featuring curated antipasto platters designed to complement the Roastery’s drink menu.
Exclusive Collectible Keepsakes

To elevate the comfort of the stone and wood terrace, every guest receives a limited-edition original picnic cushion designed specifically for the 2026 season. For those sensitive to the spring chill, the premium plan includes a high-quality original blanket that guests can use during their stay and take home as a functional souvenir.
Inside the Roastery, visitors can also shop the official 2026 SAKURA Collection, featuring premium items like the Ruby Pink Stainless Bottle, the Dark Pink Stainless Tumbler, and the iridescent Aurora Pink Cereal Mug.
For those looking for a unique keepsake, the collection includes a Petal Double-Walled Glass and a seasonal Pink Mug Leather Keyholder, all designed to reflect the soft colors of the Meguro River blossoms. These exclusive items are available at the 1st-floor retail counter and the riverside Pop-Up Store.
The Panache Riverside Pop-Up

For those on the move, a special satellite store (March 20 – April 10) will operate in the Kijima area.
The star of the show is the Coffee & Berry Panache, a beer-based cocktail that blends cold brew coffee with bright berry notes, a signature flavor profile of the Roastery. Spirit-free versions (mocktails) are also available, ensuring everyone can enjoy a toast to the blossoms.
Strategic Booking and Availability
Reservations open on March 6, 2026, via the TableCheck portal. Given that this is one of Tokyo’s most famous photo spots, slots are expected to sell out within minutes of going live. The plan is weather-dependent, with specific guidelines in place for rain to ensure guest safety and comfort.
