1. Ms. Setsuka Kawahara
Born in 1997, graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Art, Major in Conceptual Design. Influenced by the animation techniques and expressions of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, he creates animation films using paper cutouts. In the commercial field, he is also expanding the scope of his activities, such as being in charge of music videos, anime endings, and special scenes for animated movies.
2. Mr. Takahiro Sagawa
Completed major course at Osaka College of Arts. He deals with phenomena related to human emotions through a variety of expressions, including three-dimensional works that resemble pop-up letters in manga, performance, communication, and sculpture. Having experienced outdoor exhibitions at Rokko Meets Art and Rokko Shidare Observation Deck Shidare Museum, in recent years he has been exploring worship art that combines interactivity and prayer.
3. Ms. Yukari Sato
Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design (currently Kyoto University of Arts). After working as a graphic designer at an advertising production company, since 2018 he has been working between art, illustration, and design. In the same year, he encountered clay figurines at a Jomon exhibition at the Tokyo National Museum, and was fascinated by the Jomon people's way of life and the primitive charm of clay figurines, and began drawing them as his life's work.
4. Ms. Ai Degaito
Ceramist. Born in Nara Prefecture in 1997. He expresses his inner environment through the organic shapes created by hand-forming and the precise temperature control during firing in a kiln. The glaze prepared from ash and stone is unique. On-site workers will travel to AIRs in various locations and actively interact with local residents while preparing and firing the soil.
