"A Special Day to Enjoy Nature and Local Culture" - Tamano City -【OKAYAMA】

The event will offer a variety of activities to enjoy the rich
nature and culture of the area, and local youth will participate as volunteers.
This is a day that will provide an unforgettable experience for visitors and
allow them to fully experience the charm of the Seto Inland Sea along with its
beautiful scenery.

Ojigatake area

Guided walking tours (available in foreign languages)

A guided walking tour by the student volunteer group “Tamano Beads”
will be held at Ojigatake. Participants can discover the charms of Ojigatake
while enjoying the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, including the iconic Nico
Nico Iwa and the beauty of the many islands. This is a great chance to take
commemorative photos at your favorite spots and share the charms of Ojigatake
with the world via SNS!

The Restaurant of Forests and Hills

The “Forest and Hill Restaurant” will be open for a limited time in
a spectacular location overlooking the magnificent Seto Inland Sea. The menu features
a variety of specialties such as meuniere using local black sea bream,
appetizers and soups using seasonal prefectural ingredients, and more. Visitors
can enjoy a luxurious time with delicious dishes and a view of the calm sea.
The price is 1,100 yen (tax included) and limited to the first 100 guests. The
special menu, which focuses on only the finest ingredients, can only be enjoyed
here. The black sea bream meuniere, in particular, is made with fresh fish
caught off the coast of Mochigami, offering a taste of local luxury.

bream from Setouchi, seasonal vegetables, Italian vinaigrette sauce

Soup: White mushroom and garlic soup from
Ushimado

coast of Chestnut, sauteed eggplant and mushrooms from Tamano, fettuccine
pasta, sauce Genovese, tomato sauce

Sweets: Belk's special cheese terrine,
Okayama-grown Cheyenne Muscat, blackcurrant and red wine sauce.

Art Hills Ojigatake Special Open House

At Art Hills Ojigatake, valuable art collections that are not
normally available for viewing will be on special display for this event only.
The collection on display will be gathered from all over Japan by Tamano
entrepreneur Kenichi Miyake, and will include artworks and curiosities
collected from all genres. Please take this opportunity to experience this
rarely seen collection. With commentary by the volunteer guides
“Tsutsuji-no-kai,” visitors can enjoy the art even more deeply (advance
reservations required - free of charge for tours).

Shibukawa Coast Area

Shibukawa Coast - Exclusive Tea Ceremony

At the “Shibukawa Coast Tea Ceremony” offered by the Tamano Commerce
and Industry High School Tea Ceremony Club, you will have the luxury of
enjoying matcha green tea while gazing at the beautiful Shibukawa Coast with
its white sand and green pines. This vast beach has been selected as one of the
“100 best beaches in Japan” and “100 best bathing beaches in Japan,” and you
can enjoy a relaxing tea time along with its wonderful scenery. Feel the sea
breeze and enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility for only 500 yen per seat
(tax included).

Also, the Toy Kingdom will hold a “Can
Badge Making Workshop”. This is a fun activity where you can turn your own
drawings or photos of beautiful beaches and scenery taken on the spot into
badges. Anyone can participate for free.

Trial Ride of an e-Bike

Shibukawa Kanko Parking Lot will host an “e-bike” test-ride event
where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Seto Inland Sea. This
30-minute test-ride experience allows visitors to feel nature while riding
along Route 430 on an electrically assisted bike. Even first-time participants
can feel free to join the event and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Seto
Inland Sea while feeling the wind. The event is free of charge and open to
everyone.

There will also be tourism booths set up by the Bizen Tourism Association and the Setouchi City Tourism Association, with whom we regularly collaborate, providing a great opportunity to learn about local specialties and tourism information.

Vehicles that let you experience nature

A test run of “tuk-tuks,” which offer
comfortable transportation in the midst of nature, will be conducted. From the
tuk-tuks along Route 430, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the Seto-ohashi
Bridge and the beauty of the many islands, and feel as if they are part of the
Seto Inland Sea. The tuk-tuks also offer a pleasant transportation experience,
with the sea breeze and the scent of the ocean. Advance reservations are
required, and due to the anticipated large number of applications, the tour
will be offered by lottery. Please do not miss out on this valuable experience
and apply now.

Free shuttle bus service

On the day of the event, a free shuttle bus
will be available between the Shibukawa Kanko Parking Lot and the Ojigatake No.
2 Parking Lot. This shuttle bus will take you to Ojigatake in comfort and with
a spectacular view along Route 430. The time spent traveling will be special as
you enjoy the view of the Seto Inland Sea's sparkling water surface and the
beauty of the many islands. Due to expected congestion, we recommend using the
Shibukawa Kanko Parking Lot. Shuttle buses will begin operating at 9:00 a.m.,
so please take advantage of this service.
