Kyoto Kameoka Balloon Festival: A Celebration Above the Clouds

The highly anticipated Kyoto Kameoka Balloon Festival 2025 will take place from April 4 to April 6 at Hozugawa Waterside Park, just a short walk from JR Kameoka Station! This festival promises an extraordinary experience as 21 teams from Japan and abroad compete in colorful hot air balloon displays set against the backdrop of Kameoka's stunning natural scenery.

The festival, held in celebration of Kameoka's 70th anniversary as a city, will offer an array of activities suitable for all ages, including tethered balloon rides, a vibrant market featuring local and gourmet delicacies, and the enchanting Balloon Illusion event, which will take place on the evening of April 5.
