Tamagotchi 30th Anniversary: Limited Merch and Ticket Info
Tamagotchi’s 30th Anniversary Exhibition in Roppongi, Tokyo January 7 – February 2, 2026, features immersive history, exclusive merch, plush mini charms, and a themed café.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bandai’s toy Tamagotchi, the special exhibition Tamagotchi 30th Anniversary Great Exhibition will be held at The Museum in Roppongi, Tokyo from Wednesday, January 7 to Monday, February 2, 2026. Afterward, the exhibition will tour to Nagoya PARCO in Aichi, Mito Keisei Department Store in Ibaraki, and Daimaru Umeda in Osaka.
Immerse yourself in the world of Tamagotchi

The Tamagotchi 30th Anniversary Great Exhibition not only traces 30 years of history but also showcases the charm of the creature, Tamagotchi, that millions have lovingly cared for, as well as its survival strategies. Passing through the egg-shaped gate at the entrance feels like diving straight through the LCD screen to enter the world of Tamagotchi.

The venue is packed with content: visitors can not only glimpse the scenes Tamagotchi usually sees on its device but also experience the Tamagotchi’s growth process, allowing fans to become characters and have fun. In addition, the exhibition recreates the rooms of personality-filled characters such as Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, and Memetchi, and reveals behind-the-scenes secrets of Tamagotchi development, a must-see for fans.
Tamagotchi collaboration with BE@RBRICK

Exclusive goods sold on-site are another major highlight. The most anticipated item is the collaboration Tamagotchi created with MEDICOM TOY’s BE@RBRICK. The transparent device body features pixel-art illustrations of Mochitchi and bear motifs, giving it a retro feel; additionally, the included glittery clear protective case adopts the BE@RBRICK head shape, making it extremely eye-catching.
Also on offer at the venue will be a lively design BE@RBRICK 400% covered with Tamagotchi characters.
Street-style illustrated Tamagotchi

The colorful Tamagotchi, created in collaboration with artist Mitsuhiro Higuchi, is dressed in a street graffiti-style look that showcases a cool, design-forward charm.
Mametchi plushies and mini charms

Other items include Mametchi plush toys, round and cute space-themed stickers, and a limited set of 10 mini charm designs that perfectly gather all the adorable Tamagotchi looks.
Themed café: Egg Face omelette pasta, fluffy pancakes and Tamagotchi pixel drinks

The exhibition venue also features a collaboration café serving Neapolitan omelette pasta and fluffy pancakes decorated with the classic egg face motif.

There are also collaboration drinks served with Tamagotchi-style screen toppers; the adorable pixel-art decorations are especially noteworthy.
