Open on Limited Days, Ninja Village Tour from Kyoto: Authentic Ninja House and Training Village

After meeting at JR Kyoto Station, we'll take a local train to Shiga in Koka Prefecture. First, we'll visit the Koka-ryu Ninja House, where we'll learn about the true nature and historical background of ninjas through exhibits. Inside the house, hidden doors and contraptions remain, allowing us to experience the ingenuity of the time. Next, we'll move to the Koka Ninja Village, where we'll change into ninja costumes and head to the outdoor training grounds. We'll challenge ourselves with ninja-themed activities such as wall climbing, water crossing, and shuriken throwing. It's a day that combines learning and experience, unlike a typical temple and shrine visit.

*Itinerary

09:00 Meet at JR Kyoto Station. *On weekends, due to train schedules, meet at 08:45 (local train). Take the train via Kusatsu to JR Konan Station (approximately 54 minutes including transfers).

10:16 JR Konan Station → Take a taxi to the Ninja House

10:45 Visit to the Koka-ryu Ninja Residence *Closed: Wednesdays and the fourth Thursday of every month

11:45 Lunch (additional charge / nearby restaurants can be recommended) → After lunch, take a taxi to the Ninja Village

13:00 Koka Village Ninja Experience (Ninja costumes available) *Closed: Mondays (If Monday is a public holiday, closed the following day) *Transportation to the nearest station will be provided after the experience.

16:50 JR Koka Station (Direct train to Kyoto on the conventional line)

18:01 Arrival at JR Kyoto Station and disbandment. *If you wish to be disbanded at a different location, please consult with your guide.
