1-day Hiroshima Tour from OSAKA: Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima Island

We will meet our guide at a hotel in Osaka and take the Shinkansen (Green Car) from Osaka to Hiroshima. Upon arrival, we will walk through Peace Memorial Park, visiting symbolic sites such as the memorial overlooking the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Flame of Peace. At the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, we will gain a deep understanding of the events of that time and the subsequent wishes for reconstruction and peace through exhibits that convey the reality of the atomic bombing. In the afternoon, we will travel to Miya Island by taxi and ferry and visit Itsukushima Island Shrine, a World Heritage Site known for its vermilion torii gate that appears to float on the sea. It will be a day to experience Hiroshima's "memory" and "beauty."

09:00 Meet at the hotel in Osaka → Take a taxi to Shin- Osaka Station

09:30 JR Osaka Station → Take the Shinkansen (Green Car) to Hiroshima

10:50 JR Hiroshima Station → Take a taxi to Peace Memorial Park

11:20 Visit to Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. *Museum closed: December 30th and 31st.

13:00 Lunch (additional charge / nearby restaurants can be recommended) → Take a taxi and ferry to Miya Island.

15:00 Miya Island/ Itsukushima Island Shrine: Visit and explore → Ferry + taxi to JR Hiroshima Station
