The cafe lounge transforms into a heart-stirring, artistic space.

The art exhibition at Hotel Noum OSAKA, which began in 2023, invites wonderful artists and creators each time and is held in the cafe lounge on the first floor.

During the event, the usual peaceful atmosphere will remain, but the space will be transformed into a special place where you can enjoy a different kind of ambiance. Admission is free, so please feel free to come by.

The two-person exhibition "roots" starts on April 17th!

The first art exhibition of 2026 is a two-person show titled "roots" by illustrator kivi , who is based in Hiroshima, and Hinako Ogoshi, who has lived in the UK and Germany and now works as a translator and tour guide in Hiroshima.

Hinako Ogoshi has a gentle demeanor.

This exhibition features original illustrations from a picture book inspired by the scenery of the Setouchi, the artist's hometown, as well as photographs taken with a film camera.

For the two who met at "Hotel Noum OSAKA," this exhibition in a place that truly represents their roots is warm and gentle, as if it has brought the tranquil atmosphere of the Setouchi with it.

Regarding the exhibition, Kivi said, "I hope it will give viewers a chance to reflect on their own roots," and Hinako Ogoshi said, "I would be happy if people could take a moment to relax while looking at the artwork." There are also scheduled days when the artists will be present at the gallery towards the end of the exhibition, so please come and visit.

They are selling a zine (pictured above) that the two of them wrote together like a shared diary, weaving together illustrations, photos, and words, as well as other goods such as postcards and stickers.
