World's First! Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport

To support local children and boost tourism following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, Ishikawa Prefecture has partnered with the POKÉMON with YOU Foundation.

As part of this regional revival project, Noto Satoyama Airport is being transformed into the world’s first Pokémon-themed airport: Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport.

This airport theme will be available for a limited time from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, until the end of September 2029.

The Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport is convenient if you travel to Ishikawa destinations such as Wakura Onsen or even Kanazawa!

Highlights of the Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport

Below, we introduce the features that make Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport truly unique.

Its features have been introduced in the airport video on YouTube, so please be sure to check it out as well.

Original Logo

The original logo of the Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport features a bright and gorgeous design created with the desire to "bring energy and cheer."

Using a Poké Ball and Pikachu as motifs, it cleverly depicts the topography of the Noto Peninsula, the local people, and the smiles of travelers.

Two-Story Atrium Space

In the two-story atrium space unique to the airport, a giant Pikachu and an airplane-shaped balloon will float as symbols of the airport, surrounded by numerous Pokémon depicted flying comfortably through the sky.

Including this atrium space, a total of all 111 types of "Flying-type" Pokémon discovered as of May 2026 will appear throughout the entire airport. (*Excludes Mega Evolutions, Regional Forms, etc.)

1st Floor Arrival Lobby

In the first-floor arrival lobby, a large-scale display of the recovery support artwork "A Future Full of Light"—which was created in 2024 to support Noto's reconstruction—will be exhibited.

Alongside scenery reminiscent of Noto's rich nature, it will warmly welcome visiting travelers.

Airport Exterior

The Noto Satoyama Pokémon with YOU Airport logo is proudly displayed on the upper part of the airport's exterior.

Also, the pillars at the airport entrance are adorned with numerous Pokémon, building anticipation for the journey ahead.

Furthermore, you can enjoy Pokémon decorations in various locations throughout the airport, such as the terminal entrances/exits and the boarding bridges leading to the airplanes.

If you look closely at the entrance to the restrooms, you will see that a small Pikachu is also designed into the guide signs.

On the 2nd-floor wall, artwork depicting the daily lives of Pokémon—as they might unfold at airports around the world—is on display.

Some of the information signs throughout the building have also been given a Pokémon-themed makeover.

Kids' Space

To ensure families can visit with peace of mind, a kids' space where children can play freely is also provided.

Special Attractions to Enjoy inside the Airport

In addition to the decorations, a variety of interactive experiences and content are available throughout the building.

Observation Deck: Pikachu's Satoyama

A massive gathering of Pikachus awaits on the observation deck. Flocks of Pikachus lined up across a space inspired by a traditional "Satoyama" countryside environment will welcome all visitors.

If you look closely, other Pokémon have also come to play among the Pikachus, so be sure to try and find them.

Nearby pillars are also adorned with adorable illustrations of Pikachu.

Original Short Movie "Airport Side Story" (3 Episodes in Total)

Inside the airport, you can watch all 3 episodes of the exclusive original short movies using your smartphone. One of the episodes, "Fly! Bagon," is a story about a Bagon that longs for the vast sky.

A monument of Bagon looking up at Salamence is also installed in the building, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of the film.

The remaining two episodes are also original stories created specifically for this airport. They are sure to make your time at the airport and your journey through Noto even more enjoyable.

Airport Original Art Wall "Sky of Hope"

Sky of Hope is an original artwork specially created to commemorate the opening of this themed airport.

By depicting numerous Pokémon flying through the vast sky alongside dazzling light and a beautiful rainbow, it expresses a longing for the sky, the joy of flying around freely, and "hope" for a new journey.

This artwork is scheduled to be featured in various ways, including the airport's decorations, original merchandise, and wrapped buses.

Pokémon Original Menu at the Airport Restaurant

Located on the 3rd floor of the airport, Restaurant Annon serves a Pokémon original menu exclusive to the airport. The lineup features two types of pancakes and two types of drinks.

In addition to the menu, the packaging for the wet wipes has also been customized with this special Pokémon design.

Original Goods for Sale at the Airport Shop

The Serendipity shop on the 2nd floor of the airport sells original merchandise featuring the exclusive airport logo and the "Sky of Hope" original artwork in its designs.

In addition to T-shirts and keychains, the lineup includes items unique to an airport, such as luggage tags and suitcase belts. Be sure to check them out as a souvenir of your trip.

A Journey Around the Noto Peninsula Starting from the Airport

In conjunction with this Pokémon collaboration, a Pokémon-themed travel and exploration project will also be held across the Noto Peninsula.

Grab a map and enjoy your journey while looking for the Pokémon located in various parts of the Noto Peninsula. See below for details.

Pokémon Noto Tour Stamp Rally

1. Stamp Rally
Event Period: Tuesday, July 7, 2026 – Sunday, March 7, 2027

Details: This is an event where participants visit designated stamp spots across the Noto region to collect stamps.

There are two types of stamps: Pokémon Stamps and Tourist Spot Stamps. By meeting the specific requirements, you can receive original merchandise such as event-exclusive stickers and umbrella handle covers.

Important Notes: Prize redemption is limited to once per person. Reselling prizes is strictly prohibited. Additionally, stamps stamped on sheets other than the official stamp rally booklet will be invalid.

2. Limited-Time Photo Campaign
Event Period: Tuesday, July 7, 2026 – Sunday, September 27, 2026

How to Participate:
1. Take a photo of either A or B below:
A: A photo of a Pokémon spot in Noto
B: A photo taken at a tourist spot in Noto together with your favorite Pokémon merchandise (such as a plushie)

2. Follow the official Ishikawa Prefecture Tourism League Instagram account (@hotishikawa_tabinet).

3. Post your photo publicly with the designated hashtag "#ポケモンのとめぐり" (#PokémonNotoTour).

Prize: 20 winners will be selected by lottery to receive a Noto Milk Gelato Set.

The Pokémon Wrapped Bus Begins Operation!

In conjunction with the opening of the themed airport, starting in mid-July, the Hokuriku Railroad Group will begin operating two buses with custom Pokémon-wrapped designs within Ishikawa Prefecture.

Noto Area Express Bus (Kanazawa – Noto Airport – Wajima) *Pokémon Wrapped Bus (Existing Route)

The Pokémon-wrapped bus will appear on the existing express bus route connecting Kanazawa Station, Noto Airport, and Wajima City.

It is scheduled to run one round trip per day, making it highly convenient for those who want to enjoy sightseeing in Noto along with the Kanazawa area.

Noto Tour Bus *Pokémon Wrapped Bus (New Route) *Operation Route Under Adjustment

The newly established tour bus route will start from Noto Airport and tour around various Pokémon spots scattered throughout the Noto Peninsula. This allows you to efficiently visit Pokémon spots unique to the Hokuriku region.

For example, you can visit the Wakura Poké Lids that opened on May 12, 2026, in Nanao City's Wakura Onsen, as well as the Sylveon with LOVE monument installed in Suzu City.

*The tour bus is scheduled to operate only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (excluding winter), as well as during the summer vacation period (from mid-July onwards).
*Details such as the designs and operating schedules for both wrapped buses will be announced at a later date.
