Pokémon Tokyo Event 2026: 100+ Pokémon Across the City

Over 100 Pokémon Take Over Nihonbashi and Yaesu!

Pokémon fans exploring Tokyo this fall may encounter some unexpected faces around Nihonbashi and Yaesu!

From September 9 to November 29, 2026, Legendary Research: Encounter Legendary Pokémon in Nihonbashi & Yaesu brings more than 100 Pokémon to locations throughout the two neighborhoods.

Statues of 19 Pokémon, including Legendary Pokémon, can be found across six main locations in Nihonbashi and Yaesu: Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, COREDO Muromachi 1, COREDO Muromachi 2, COREDO Muromachi 3, COREDO Muromachi Terrace, and Tokyo Midtown Yaesu.

Even more Pokémon appear throughout indoor and outdoor spaces in the surrounding area, with over 100 Pokémon to discover in total.

Best of all, the Pokémon displays around the city can be enjoyed for free, making the event an easy addition to a day of sightseeing around Tokyo.

Search for Legendary Pokémon Across Tokyo

In addition to the free Pokémon displays, fans can join the paid Pokémon Legend Research: Awaken the Legendary Research Report! mystery-solving adventure.

Participants collect a special mystery kit from Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower before setting out across Nihonbashi and Yaesu.

The story begins with the discovery of an old Pokédex and a mysterious file containing codes connected to Legendary Pokémon.

Players must then explore the city, find Pokémon statues and displays, gather clues, and solve the mysteries hidden throughout the neighborhoods.

The experience was created by RIDDLER, the puzzle-making group led by Ryogo Matsumaru, and incorporates elements inspired by Pokémon's 30-year history.

Hints are available throughout the adventure, making it suitable for both experienced puzzle fans and beginners.

The mystery-solving kit costs 3,300 yen, while visitors who simply want to search for the Pokémon displays can explore them for free.

Note: English-language support for the mystery-solving kit has not been confirmed.

Exclusive Pokémon Merchandise

Fans can also pick up original merchandise featuring special artwork created for the event.

The lineup includes drawstring bags, folding fans, acrylic keychains, acrylic stands, mugs, T-shirts, and more.

The merchandise shop is located on the fifth floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu and operates as a completely cashless store.

Items are available in limited quantities and may sell out. Purchase limits may also apply.
