mimimi JIYUGAOKA: A New Dining Destination in Tokyo

A new dining and arts complex, mimimi JIYUGAOKA, opened in Tokyo's Jiyugaoka on October 9, 2026!
Taking over the former Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest space, it brings together four restaurants with distinct styles, an art gallery, and a farm, creating a new destination for food, art, and hands-on growing experiences.
Discover Food and Art at mimimi JIYUGAOKA

Located on the second and third floors of La Cour Jiyugaoka, mimimi JIYUGAOKA consists of three areas: Taste (restaurants), See (art gallery), and Grow (farm).
Visitors can sample cuisines from different countries at its four restaurants, explore contemporary art exhibitions, and attend music and theater events.
Vegetables and herbs grown on the farm will also be used in the restaurants, connecting dining, viewing art, and growing food in a single space.
Four Restaurants: From International Cuisine to Edomae Sushi
The dining area features four restaurants, each with its own distinctive style.
guu table

guu table features a 20-meter-long open kitchen and approximately 70 seats, offering a spacious setting for a leisurely meal.

The lunchtime highlight is the Deli Buffet, where diners can choose from a variety of international dishes. Combining small, round plates adds a playful touch to selecting your meal!
The menu includes colorful dishes such as Lightly Fried Salmon Crepe and Roast Beef and Orange Salad Plate. The facility plans to create menus that include drinks made in collaboration with the farm and limited-time dishes inspired by the art gallery's exhibitions.
HoaHoa

International restaurant HoaHoa serves Vietnamese pho incorporating ingredients inspired by traditional medicinal cuisine. At lunchtime, diners can choose from more than 10 different broths.

The evening highlight is the visually striking Flower Hot Pot, featuring colorful vegetables and flowers in a fragrant broth.
LALA PASTA
LALA PASTA specializes in fresh pasta and is a sister restaurant of the popular LALA CAFE in Biei, Hokkaido.

The kitchen is led by chef Masato Sato, who trained at Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy.
Inspired by Italy's slow food culture during his training, he became involved in agriculture and dining in Hokkaido after returning to Japan. With a focus on food and regional revitalization, he promotes local ingredients and supports the regional economy.

A highlight of LALA PASTA is its glass viewing window, where visitors can watch fresh pasta being made from flour, using wheat grown in Hokkaido.
Yohaku

Yohaku draws on the techniques and creative approach of sushi chef Hiroyuki Sato's Hakkoku in Ginza and Sushidan in Hiroo, serving Edomae sushi and a variety of à la carte dishes.

While emphasizing quality ingredients and craftsmanship, the restaurant offers an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere, welcoming anyone who feels like treating themselves to a special meal.
Enjoy Vegetables and Herbs Grown on Site at the Restaurants

The farm area is home to AGRIKO FARM, which grows a variety of vegetables and herbs using aquaponics, a system that combines fish farming with plant cultivation.
The harvested vegetables and herbs will be supplied directly to the restaurants, offering a new experience where food is grown and enjoyed in the same building.
Food education workshops for local residents are also planned, giving visitors opportunities to learn about food and cultivation alongside dining and art.
More Than Dining: An Art Gallery, Music, and Theater Events

The art gallery at mimimi JIYUGAOKA opened ahead of the rest of the complex on September 19.
To celebrate the opening of mimimi JIYUGAOKA, the gallery is hosting With Gratitude, a solo exhibition by artist Yuta Okuda.

Yuta Okuda is a Japanese contemporary artist born in Aichi Prefecture in 1987. Formerly a fashion designer, he became an artist in 2016 and is now known for his Flower series, featuring vibrant colors and delicate lines.
