Harry Potter Christmas 2026: Magical Lights in Marunouchi
Explore Harry Potter Christmas displays in Tokyo’s Marunouchi, November 12–December 25, 2026, with magical lights, festive markets, and exclusive goods.
Until December 25! Harry Potter Christmas Magic in Marunouchi

Tokyo’s Marunouchi area will welcome a spellbinding holiday season with MARUNOUCHI BRIGHT HOLIDAY, a Harry Potter celebration running from November 12 to December 25, 2026.
Nine locations across Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho will feature decorations inspired by Hogwarts and the wizarding world, with magical snow connecting the displays.
Visitors can combine a walk through the installations with Christmas markets, themed food, exclusive shopping, and Marunouchi’s signature champagne-gold illuminations.
A Hogwarts Christmas Tree and Magical Snow

The centerpiece is the HOGWARTS SNOW TREE in the Marunouchi Building’s first-floor Marucube. Surrounded by elements representing the four Hogwarts houses, the tree comes to life in a lighting show featuring glowing snow.
Shows run every 15 minutes from 17:00 to 21:00, lasting approximately three minutes. The opening-day schedule on November 12 will differ due to a media event.

At the nearby Shin-Marunouchi Building, the HOGWARTS COMMON ROOM recreates Gryffindor’s cozy Christmas atmosphere. Take a photo of the fireplace scene using your phone’s flash to reveal magical snow in the image.

For another atmospheric stop, visit PATRONUS FOREST at Marunouchi Oazo, where Patronus motifs emerge and fade within a shimmering snowy setting.
Wizarding World Photo Spots Across the Neighborhood

The decorations offer plenty of reasons to explore beyond the main tree.
At Marunouchi Brick Square, the GOLDEN SNITCH TREE uses trails of light to reveal a Christmas tree as a Golden Snitch races through sparkling snow.

On Marunouchi Naka-dori, HONEYDUKES CHRISTMAS features colorful sweet-inspired decorations and a photo spot that makes visitors appear to step inside a sweets package.

The WEASLEYS’ WIZARD WHEEZES display offers another playful backdrop, where you can pose as though you are popping out of a gift box.

Other stops include HOGWARTS LETTER PARK at Slit Park YURAKUCHO and HOGWARTS DANCE PARTY on Otemachi Naka-dori, where colorful house crests dance across the ground after dark.

From November 27, HOGWARTS WINTER WALK will also appear on Gyoko-dori Avenue, featuring Christmas trees decorated with Hogwarts letters and lights that resemble gently settling snow.
Christmas Markets Beneath Champagne-Gold Lights

The Harry Potter displays coincide with Marunouchi Illumination 2026, which will light up approximately 1.2 kilometers of Marunouchi Naka-dori in champagne gold.
The illuminations run from November 12, 2026, to February 14, 2027, continuing beyond the Harry Potter event.

For festive food and shopping, Marunouchi Street Park 2026 Winter brings Christmas market stalls and food trucks to Marunouchi Naka-dori from November 12 to December 25. Ten shops will participate, with tables and chairs providing places to relax along the street.
From November 27, Gyoko-dori Avenue will welcome 15 Christmas food huts, the event’s largest lineup to date. Warming options include butter chicken curry, sausages, and cocoa, served near illuminated Harry Potter Christmas trees in front of Tokyo Station.
Collect Stamps with Luna-Inspired Spectrespecs

A 500-yen stamp rally set adds an interactive element to the walk.
The set includes special glasses inspired by Luna Lovegood’s Spectrespecs, which change how the illuminations appear when viewed through them.

Collect five stamps to receive an exclusive Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo holiday card. Complete all 10 to receive an event-exclusive Harry Potter Card Game promotional card.
Sets and completion rewards are available in limited quantities, and promotional card designs cannot be selected.
Harry Potter Food, Exclusive Goods, and a Pop-Up Store

Selected restaurants and cafés will serve limited-time Harry Potter collaboration food and drinks. Participating venues include THE FRONT ROOM in the Marunouchi Building, BARBARA market place 151 in the Shin-Marunouchi Building, and M&C Café at Marunouchi Oazo.

Shops including Paul Smith, ( Epoi ), Tabio MEN, and TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE MARUNOUCHI will also offer collaboration merchandise, with fashion items, accessories, stationery, and more.
