Disney Ambassador Hotel - The Best Lodging for Family Vacations
The Disney Ambassador Hotel is located right between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, adjacent to the Ikspiari shopping mall. This lodging is ideal for all eager to enjoy the Parks of any age.
The hotel has many special features that can be found throughout the hotel, from the lobby to guestrooms, and even on the restaurant's menu. Even if you’re not a dedicated Disney fan, this one-of-a-kind accommodation will be sure to surprise and delight you. Now, let’s check into the Disney Ambassador Hotel!
Meet Disney Characters at the Disney Ambassador Hotel
The blue-and-white color scheme of the Disney Ambassador Hotel goes perfectly with the radiant blue sky on a sunny day. The exterior also features a welcoming design for guests.
The interior was built in Art Deco style, which was prevalent in America during the 1930s, and showcases art with Disney Characters. This period is also considered to be the golden age of Hollywood cinema, so you’ll find a jubilant statue of Mickey Mouse as a director shooting with a film camera in the center of the lobby.
Take a look at the ceiling where the film camera is pointing. Painted on the ceiling are Disney Characters like Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck piloting aircrafts in the sky! There are several more Mickey motifs to be found inside, so be sure to keep an eye out for them.
Special Guest Benefits
Guests can use the Happy 15 Entry privilege to enter the Park 15 minutes earlier than regular visitors.
The Disney Resort Cruiser, a free shuttle bus, can access both Parks, allowing you to save energy for enjoying the rides and shows. Buses run every 10 to 15 minutes each hour so that you can hop onboard anytime the Parks are open. This convenient service is ideal for those with children or elderly guests, as you can return to the hotel at any time.
Dive into the World of Disney with Two Room Types
From the second to the sixth floor, the guestrooms are divided into two categories: the Standard Floor and the Ambassador Floor.
Both types feature unique Disney motifs and come with family-friendly services. All guestrooms have spacious bathrooms with bathtubs, making them ideal for families with young children.
Up to Three Persons! The Standard Floor Superior Room
First up is the Standard Floor Superior Room: the most common room type at the hotel.
Measuring 41 square meters, this spacious room has more than enough space to leave your suitcase open. Hotel goers can unwind by the window or on the sofa.
The guestrooms are decorated to match the hotel’s design. Throughout the room are Disney Character motifs that are designed on the carpet, bed, and wallpaper.
The room has two large beds and a trundle bed that can be pulled out for use. The same mattress is used for both types of beds, so you won’t have any problems getting a good night's rest.
Bed rail is also available to set up on the sides of the bed.
Guests traveling with kids will also receive children’s toothbrushes, Mickey slippers, and pajamas. They're not only adorable, but also convenient! Request the size of your child's pajamas on the day of your arrival.
Room amenities also feature original designs that only guests can enjoy. Mickey-shaped shampoo and conditioner bottles, lobby ceiling art designed cups, and more, these items will add excitement even more.

For example, the bed throws are designed with Mickey’s signature red pants and yellow buttons. The iconic Disney Character can also be found in unexpected places, such as the wallpaper, bathroom, and picture frames.
Guests will also receive an adorable pouch when they stay in a Disney Character-themed room. The pouch in the picture above is an amenity exclusive to the Minnie Mouse Room.
