If you want to soak up the spectacular scenery at Hotel Mt. Fuji, we recommend heading to the open-air baths. You will be greeted by a grand vista of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. The bathing space is located outside, so guests can enjoy the spacious atmosphere.
There's no need to worry about the weather since the outdoor baths are covered by a roof.

Die-hard sauna fans should visit Mantenboshi no Yu, complete with a steam and mist sauna, that sources bathwater from Yamanakako Onsen (hot spring).
Guests can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from deck chairs while cooling down or bathing leisurely indoors.
Please note that the open-air baths and Mantenboshi are located separately. Guests will have to put their clothes on when moving from one area to another.
While both areas have attractive features, our writer recommends taking in the view from the open-air bath and then heading to Mantenboshi. You'll be able to get the best of both areas.
The adult bathing fee for day-trippers, which includes a face and bath towel, is 2,200 yen per person. While it may seem on the pricey end, the view from both bathing areas will be well worth the cost.
The hotel also offers a bathing and dining package, so please check this out if you're interested.
A Perfect Destination for a Weekend Getaway
Our writer visited the hotel on February 23, recognized as Mt. Fuji Day in Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefecture. The view on that particular day was exceptionally special.
Even more fortuitous was this trip coincided with the writer's birthday, who is a hot spring enthusiast.
This hotel is an ideal destination for a short trip to pamper yourself. It can also be easily accessed from Tokyo. Simply leave in the morning to visit Lake Yamanaka, then finish the day trip soaking in the onsen.
