The following is general information on how to rent a car inside Fukuoka Airport.
1. Make an online reservation in advance.
2. At the airport, head to the sales office of the car rental company (*).
*Since registration procedures and pick-up/drop-off services differ according to each company, please be sure to check them in advance.
While booking a car in advance is recommended, you can go to the information desk if you need to acquire a vehicle at Fukuoka Airport on your departure day. Ask for advice at the information desks on the first floor of the Domestic Terminal (open from 7:40), the first floor of the International Terminal (open from 7:10), or the third-floor departure lobby (open from 5:00).
There is also a rent-a-car counter on the first floor of the International Terminal.

1. Nippon Rent-A-Car

Nippon Rent-A-Car is a long-established company with 560 offices across Japan.
From the Domestic Terminal, head to Fukuoka Airport 1 sales office (*), located only a three-minute walk from South A Exit. Those arriving in the International Terminal should go to the rent-a-car counter on the first floor in the arrival lobby and take the shuttle bus to the sales office, which is open from 8:00 to 20:00.
Nippon Rent-A-Car offers a wide variety of cars, from compact to large-size and luxury vehicles. Cars with a multi-lingual navigation system are also available. Additionally, customers can return the vehicles at a different site than their rental location.

2. Nissan Rent a Car
Nissan Rent a Car is managed by Nissan Mobile Corporation, an internationally renowned automaker.
From the Domestic Terminal, head to the Nissan Rent a Car Fukuoka Airport office, located a three-minute walk from South A Exit. Those arriving in the International Terminal should go to the rent-a-car counter in the arrival lobby and ride the shuttle bus to the International Terminal office.
The business hours for Nissan Rent a Car's Fukuoka Airport office are 8:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 8:00 to 20:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. The International Terminal office is open from 9:00 to 19:00.
Most of the cars at the Fukuoka Airport office are equipped with navigation and electronic toll collection (ETC) systems. Customers with an ETC card can easily use the toll roads. The majority of cars are Nissan products, including electric vehicles and sports cars.
The company also offers membership discounts, along with a full insurance policy. There is no admission or annual fee for the 23 Bonus Club, and members with small children can use a booster seat without additional charges. 3. Toyota Rent a Car

From the Domestic Terminal, head to the Toyota Rent a Car's Fukuoka Airport Branch, a five-minute walk from South A Exit. Those arriving at the International Terminal should go to the rent-a-car counter in the arrival lobby and ride the shuttle bus to the International Terminal's car rental counter.
The domestic terminal branch is open from 8:00 to 22:00, and the international counter is available from 8:00 to 20:00.
Toyota Rent a Car is the largest company in this business in Japan, with the highest number of vehicles and 1,200 shops nationwide. Since it is affiliated with Toyota, one of the major automobile firms worldwide, customers can choose from various vehicles, including high-class models.

4. ORIX Rent-A-Car
ORIX Rent-A-Car is the second largest company in the Japanese car rental business. There is a free shuttle bus service for customers who booked cars at the ORIX Rent a Car Kuko-guchi Rental Site and Fukuoka Airport International Terminal Counter.
From the Domestic Terminal, head for Exit E or F, and wait at the bus stop by the multi-story car park. Those arriving at the International Terminal should go to the rent-a-car counter in the arrival lobby.
Please keep in mind that the business hours for the Kuko-guchi Rental Site are 8:00 to 20:00. The International Terminal Counter is open from 9:00 to 18:00.
This company is known for its diverse car types. Some people even rent trucks when moving to a new house.

Both the counter and sales office are open from 8:00 to 20:00.
Customers of Times Car Rental can return their vehicles at any office within a 20-kilometer radius of the Fukuoka Airport Branch.
