The poppies at Kasaoka Bay Farm in the reclaimed land of Kasaoka Bay have reached their peak. Kasaoka Bay Farm where various flowers bloom throughout the season. Pink and red poppies are beautiful now. There are several photo spots, but this is from the photo spot in front of the parking lot. (Taken on May 16, 2023)

There is also a view spot in the flower garden

Amid the red and pink poppy fields as far as the eye can see, there is a vantage point overlooking the poppy fields.

Photo spot at the bus stop

There is a photo spot at the bus stop along the narrow path that leads to the vantage point. When I took a photo with the straw hat I was wearing and the basket I was wearing, a crowd quickly formed and people around me were taking pictures too lol. Shooting with items, recommended!

With a poppy field in the background!!

I changed the angle a little and took a picture. Many people around me were taking pictures as well.

Roadside Station Kasaoka Bay Farm / Kasaoka City

Michi-no-Eki Kasaoka Bay Farm is full of fresh local vegetables and fruits, and is always bustling with customers. When I saw the price, I was surprised because it was quite cheap! On this day, seasonal broad beans were lined up cheaply. Moreover, it's fresh and delicious, so I wanted to go every day if it was close.

Secret Kitchen Snail / Satosho Town

About 20 minutes by car from Kasaoka Bay Farm Roadside Station, a hidden cafe by the lake in Satosho Town opened in March 2023, so I went there. The surrounding roads are a little narrow, but it feels like you can go by normal car. Around the lakeside, the scenery suddenly opens up, making it a wonderful place. The reason why the name of the cafe is "Himitsu Kitchen Katatsumuri" somehow came through.

antique front door

The parking lot is large, so even a normal car is fine.

antique space with fireplace

The inside of the store was an antique space with a fireplace, and dried flowers were displayed here and there. Additional lemon water is free. It is connected to a large garden and can be served on the terrace.

fresh green garden

The view from the store is fresh greenery and the lakeside is in front of you, so it's very relaxing! ! When you step out onto the terrace, you can feel the breeze outside and hear only the chirping of small birds. While looking at the lakeside, you will want to ride a swing in the shade of fresh green.

Choose from 4 types of lunch

For lunch, you can choose from 4 types of hamburger, shrimp tomato cream pasta, melty egg meat doria, and beef tendon demi omelet rice, and you can set dessert and drinks. I tried shrimp tomato cream pasta. It was full of volume with plump shrimp. I had a counter seat where I could enjoy the view of the fresh green garden.

Dessert on the garden terrace

Dessert is his wife's handmade cake, and it seems that it changes according to the season. There were three types of cakes to choose from: chocolate chiffon, kumquat pound cake, and cheesecake, so I tried the kumquat pound cake. It looked so comfortable outside, so we had dessert on the terrace. It is the best location with the lakeside in front of you and the background music of birds chirping. The cake was also delicious.
