Mikuriga Pond

Shomyo Falls

Shomyo Falls is Japan's tallest waterfall (350 meters) that originates from the Tateyama Mountain Range. The waterfall, which falls in four tiers, is quite impressive, and in spring, when there is a lot of water from melting snow, Alder Falls (500m high) also appears next to it.

The waterfall falling from a place higher than Tokyo Tower (333m) is quite impressive if you walk along the promenade to the basin of the waterfall!
