For those who have visited Japan, the name 'Kyoto' often conjures a sense of the country itself. Whether you are a repeat visitor or a first-time traveler to Kyoto, we have prepared an exclusive tour that offers new and unique experiences in Kyoto.
2 nights 3 days
"Aman Kyoto'' was founded in November 2019, and is located almost behind the world heritage site, Kinkaku-ji Temple, in a secluded forest garden that has been nurtured over the years by the former owner's dream of creating a textile museum.
A delicate fusion of tradition inherited from Japanese inns and modernism. All guest rooms are over 60 square meters, with no excessive decoration, and are minimalist, but filled with the warmth of wood and natural light, allowing you to spend a peaceful and extraordinary time. (Takagamine Pavilion is 226㎡, Washigamine Pavilion is 241㎡)
Aman Kyoto stands on a vast land with a total land area of approximately 320,000 square meters, including the forest, and just walking around the grounds is enough for a forest bath. We offer natural wellness that soothes your mind and body with exercises such as meditation and yoga, and treatments unique to Kyoto.
There is a wellness area on the premises with a mineral-rich natural hot spring sourced from the outskirts of Aman Kyoto, which guests can use even without using the spa.
Would you like to spend the best time at a tranquil private resort nestled in a forest in the back of Kyoto?
From Kyoto City to Arashiyama, take a chartered helicopter tour of the ancient capital, which is full of world heritage sites. The next day, we took a rickshaw tour of Arashiyama as seen from the sky, feeling the atmosphere of the ancient capital. Let's enjoy 3D sightseeing.

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine has a history of over 1300 years and is the main shrine of 30,000 Inari shrines nationwide. The vivid scenery is breathtaking, including the main shrine, which is an important cultural property with gorgeous Momoyama carvings, the tower gate built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and the 1,000 torii gates that symbolize Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Companies and individuals all over Japan dedicate torii gates to shrines for the divine virtue of prosperous business, and it is said that there are over 10,000 torii gates throughout the entire mountain.
Founded in 778. This is one of Kyoto's most representative temples, with most of the buildings within its precincts designated as important cultural properties, including the main hall, where the proverb ``jumping off the stage of Kiyomizu'' is derived from, and the three-story pagoda, one of the largest in Japan. Over 1,200 years of history and the beautiful scenery of the four seasons can be seen, such as in the spring when approximately 1,000 cherry blossoms surround the stage of Shimizu and are in full bloom, and in the autumn when the entire precincts are dyed bright red.
It was built in 1339 by Takauji Ashikaga to pray for the soul of Emperor Godaigo. The Sogen Pond Garden, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season, retains the appearance of the garden created by Muso Kokushi approximately 700 years ago, and was the first designated historic site and special scenic spot in Japan. In the main hall, there is a huge and impressive "Unryu-zu", a dragon glaring at you from all directions, that looks like it is glaring at you from any 360-degree angle.
Higashiyama-dono was built in 1482 as a mountain retreat for Yoshimasa Ashikaga, and was converted into a temple after Yoshimasa's death. In contrast to the gorgeous Kinkaku-ji Temple built by his grandfather, Yoshimitsu, why did he choose a simple structure? There are various theories as to why silver leaf was not available due to financial difficulties at the time, or that Yoshimasa, who had a cultural personality, did not like flashy things. It conveys the beauty of ibushi silver, which is in harmony with nature and has a "wabi-sabi" feel.
Yoshimitsu Ashikaga designated this temple as one of the top five Zen temples in Japan, and it boasts the highest status. Sanmon Gate, one of Japan's three great gates and an important cultural property, is said to have a legend that Goemon Ishikawa admired the cherry blossoms in full bloom from atop the gate and said, "It's a spectacular view. It's a spectacular view." It also features the Karesansui garden, a national scenic spot, and Kano Tanyu. The "hojo" is a national treasure with a "tiger room" where there is an important cultural property "Gundozu" which is said to be a calligraphy brush. The red brick arched structure "suizu" which harmonizes perfectly with the old-fashioned atmosphere of Nanzenji and the vivid nature. It is a temple with a rich taste that you will never get tired of no matter how many times you visit.
What we introduced this time is only a model plan. Kyoto is said to have around 800 shrines and 1,700 temples. Since we have a private car, your travel plans are limitless.
