People living in Tamba Sasayama

During the tour, we will meet people involved in town development. They come from a variety of genres, including ``practitioners who preserve Japanese culture and history,'' ``craftsmen,'' ``agricultural and satoyama conservation,'' ``modern-day woodcutters,'' ``hosts of traditional Japanese-style inns,'' and ``village residents.''

For example, craftsmen do a wide variety of things, including pottery, ceramics, woodwork, glass, bamboo work, and dyeing.

We don't just listen to stories, we actually walk around the site and see it. By listening to the thoughts and ideas of business owners, you may be able to find similarities and differences with your own lifestyle, and find hints for your future lifestyle. Meeting and conversing with local people during your free time can be the best memory of your trip.

Stay, eat, and drive as if you were living in the countryside.

The inn you will be staying in is a renovated old folk house that is over 100 years old. Even if you feel a little inconvenience, you can feel that you are living in this land.

When you think of Tamba Sasayama, you think of food. At the dinner gathering, you can enjoy dishes made with local vegetables and game, as well as local alcohol and craft beer.

During the tour, you will be required to move by your own car. From castle towns to rural areas, you'll encounter countryside scenery and small shops along the road, and you'll be able to feel the charm of Tamba-Sasayama. One of the fun things to do during your free time is to go to places you've always wanted to visit or places recommended by the local attendants.
