Introducing TATEYAMA SAUNA

Just 30 minutes by car from Toyama Station! TATEYAMA SAUNA is an extraordinary space.

There's no way you won't feel refreshed! You can experience the charm of Mt. Tateyama directly and enjoy the outdoor sauna in the midst of nature, which is full of freedom for both body and mind.

The first HARVIA wood stove in Toyama Prefecture has been installed! Experience an authentic Finnish sauna! Feel the gentle heat with your whole body. The firewood used in the wood stove comes from a landscaper in Tateyama. Some of the sauna stones in the stove are from Tateyama, so it's all Tateyama. The basic setting is 100℃, but you can also request a lukewarm or hot setting.

The wooden sauna hut, made from Tateyama cedar, is designed with benches of various heights in the image of the Tateyama mountain range. Each bench is engraved with the name of the mountain and its altitude, and the temperature you feel can be adjusted depending on where you climb (sit). It's similar to mountain climbing; the higher you climb, the hotter and more difficult it becomes, so you can enjoy it according to your mood.

For the loyly, we use aromatic water from Healthy Wood Aroma Studio in Tateyama.

The cold bath is an open-air bath with a spectacular view, and is filled with meltwater from Mt. Tateyama. The cold bath is made with high-quality water from Toyama and is deep enough. The water is smooth and comfortable, so you can stay in it for a long time.

Lighting is added inside the bathtub, making it romantic as the night approaches. In winter, you can even do snow diving.

The open-air bathing offers a great view, and you might feel as if you have climbed one of the 100 famous mountains.

You can enjoy the view of the Toyama Plain from the infinity chair. The vast scenery will satisfy your mind and body, and you will surely feel at ease from the eyes.

The environment is so quiet that the only sound you can hear is the birds singing, and you can feel immersed in nature, experiencing a sauna that can only be enjoyed here.
