Ichikawa Danjūrō XIII (Naritaya)

The stage name of Ichikawa Danjūrō has been passed down since the Edo period. For generations, actors who have borne that name have played a central role in Edo Kabuki and made a great contribution to the history of Kabuki. In November 2022, Ichikawa Ebizo XI (at the time) took on the stage name of Ichikawa Danjūrō XIII, and the stage name of Danjūrō was revived for the first time in nine years.

What is "glaring"?

"NIRAMI" is a special Kabuki ritual permitted only by the Ichikawa family, and it is said that by witnessing the "NIRAMI," evil spirits will be warded off and you will be able to spend the year free from illness and good health.
