Latest update :

This time, we will introduce the charms of Seisenryo.

Seisen Ryoku has a long history and was built in 1938. It was dedicated as a training camp site for the Brotherhood of St. Andrew in Japan in memory of James L. Houghteling, founder of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew (BSA), a youth movement organization of the Anglican Church, a Christian denomination.

It was later on the brink of closure, but thanks to the dedicated efforts of American Dr. Paul Rusch, it was rebuilt. Since then, it has welcomed many visitors as the base facility for the Kiyosato Rural Center, but in 1955, Seisen Ryokan burned down, along with the valuable materials. It was rebuilt again in 1957, and in 2009, a new lodging and training building was constructed that inherited the image of the Seisen Ryokan "Main Building," which has accumulated a long history, and is still visited by many visitors.

The guest rooms include Western-style rooms, Japanese-style rooms, maisonettes, and cottages.
