The hotel will begin offering a new plan, "OTM ICE CREAM Included Plan," from Monday, July 22, 2024, which allows guests to enjoy the signature sweets of "OTM Restaurant," Japan's first microgreen specialty store that opened in Kanazawa City, at the hotel.

"OTM ICECREAM" by "OTM Restaurant" headquartered in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is a flavorful, "guilt-free" ice cream made with fresh microgreens, based on the concept of "changing ice cream from immoral sweets to moral delight." Guests staying with this plan can choose from two flavors (vanilla and chocolate) that mix several types of microgreens. Enjoy this refreshing ice cream in the comfort of your room, perfect for this summer's heatwave.

What are Microgreens?

This refers to young vegetables that have been sprouting for about 1 to 3 weeks. They are small vegetables less than 5cm in size, and contain more than five times the vitamins of mature vegetables. They are also very rich in mineral nutrients.

What is OTM Restaurant?

This is Japan's first restaurant specializing in microgreens, and OTM is an acronym for Organic Trade Mark. They use their own grown microgreens in a generous amount in their pasta sets, light meals such as sandwiches, and their special Basque cheesecake. The drink menu offers a wide range of drinks from cafe drinks to alcoholic beverages, and can be enjoyed in a variety of situations, from lunch to cafe time, dinner, and at the bar.
