What is atmos? Why are atmos sneakers so popular?

The shop name "atmos" comes from the word "atmosphere," and was started with the desire to be a shop that is close to the sneaker community and that is a natural presence there. As one of Japan's leading sneaker select shops, atmos offers a wide range of products, including limited edition items and special models only available at atmos. They also offer original apparel, and are popular with customers from overseas.

SALOMON XT-4 OG GTX atmos

Following on from the XT-6 "STARS COLLIDE," a world-first collaboration between sneaker boutiques, the XT-4 OG GTX "STARS COLLIDE 2" is the world's first collaboration model with the XT-4 OG GTX. Nicknamed "STARS COLLIDE," this model is based on the concept of a "celestial collision." The design evokes the moment when stardust scattered throughout the universe radiates light, with star patterns and reflective material across the entire upper. The "celestial collision" is evoked by a gimmick that changes its appearance depending on the light hitting it. The star pattern is a symbolic design that adorned each of the collaboration sneakers from atmos' early days, and the design story also incorporates the fact that it is an important key motif that connects the brand's history and future.

New Balance U1906RAC "BLUE MOON"

Introducing a special edition 1906 model from atmos. The theme of this piece is "inversion." The original colors are inverted to the colors on the reverse side of the color wheel, creating a design concept of contrast between "front and back" and "light and shadow." If the original model's white and gold symbolized "morning" and "sun," the new model's black and silver evokes the opposite: "night" and "moon." The colors express the beautiful balance of opposing forces—sun and moon, day and night.
