MADYAMA
The first place we'll introduce is about a 2-minute walk from the Yakimono Sanpomichi parking lot. It's a cafe with the atmosphere of an old-fashioned house, renovated from a clay pipe factory, with a shop on the first floor and a cafe on the second floor. The heavy pillars unique to the factory are mixed with casual interior decor to create a stylish interior.
Lunch is colorful and full of vegetables. Spending the afternoon in a Tokoname ware dish and mug is sure to make you feel special and different from usual♪ The "Vegetable Curry" (photo below) is a recommended curry served with about 10 kinds of seasonal vegetables. The salad with homemade dressing is also very filling. It's irresistible for girls who love vegetables. There are also other types of curry such as meat curry and butter chicken curry, so you can choose according to your mood and preferences.
The curry, made with spices mixed by the owner himself, is an authentic curry that you can choose from three types! (Photo: Vegetable curry (rice) with salad, tax included: 1,580 yen)
The dessert served in Tokoname ware is also delicious♪ (Photo: A set of a mini yuzu and mango sundae and blended coffee, tax included: 900 yen)

Udon and sweets Wabisuke
Located on Kurefudoya Street, an alley lined with bakeries and general stores, this cafe is greeted by lion statues and has a lovely ambiance with its black walls.
The dishes used in the restaurant are, of course, Tokoname ware. The most popular dish is the "Clay Pot Curry Udon" (photo below), which is served in an original clay pot. It is served boiling hot, so it makes a big impact. Tokoname ware clay pots have excellent heat retention, so you can eat your food warm until the very end.
The ingredients are strained so that they stick to the udon. The smooth and chewy noodles are made with wheat flour and rye. Clay Pot Curry Udon (tax included: 1,300 yen)
The "Ogura French Toast" (photo below) uses bread from "Fusha," a popular bakery located on the same "Kurefu Tsuchiya Street." It is a hearty dish that combines cool and hot flavors. Enjoy lunch and searching for your favorite goods at this modern Japanese cafe renovated from a clay pipe factory from the early Showa period. *Dogs are allowed on the terrace seats.

nuu(nuu)
The name of this shop is said to come from the Japanese word "sew". The owner, Ms. Yanagida (left in the photo), originally opened a kimono and Japanese dressmaking class in Nagoya with a friend. Wanting to have her own shop and to be able to balance work and child-rearing, she moved to Tokoname and opened her shop in 2011.
The lovely courtyard is filled with beautiful seasonal flowers, making you feel like you've entered another world. The retro scenery matches well with kimonos, making it a relaxing and comfortable place.
The dishes are made with local ingredients and seasonings, and are all healthy. The "Tokoname Deli Plate" (photo below) is a cute dish with a colorful arrangement, which is very appealing for women who want to try a little bit of everything.
