"Royal Suite Tsubo Nakagawa" will be born in 2025!
In February 2025, the Royal Suite Tsubonakagawa will be opening as a villa available for rent. Enjoy a luxurious time with your loved ones in a special space with true taste, rented exclusively for yourself. We will tell you the story behind the building, the rooms, and the cuisine.
About "Tsubonakagawa"
"Tsubonakagawa" is a traditional Japanese restaurant called "Nakagawa" that was located in Akasaka, Tokyo, dismantled in 1983 and relocated to Okudogo.
The original Nakagawa was built in 1927, but was demolished during forced evacuation during the war. The current Nakagawa was rebuilt in August 1951, and was used by important figures from the military, zaibatsu, and political worlds before and after the war until 1982.
Although it was previously used as a banquet hall in our hotel, in order to enable it to be enjoyed as a royal suite, we have preserved and renovated it while retaining as much of the original authenticity as possible and polishing the existing items, with a focus on experiencing it rather than experiencing it.
The front garden is the only purely Japanese garden of its kind, designed by Adachi Zenko, the founder of the Adachi Museum of Art.
We rent out the entire mansion, which is full of stories, and aim to create a space where connoisseurs can fully enjoy Japanesque cuisine. Guests can enjoy seasonal ingredients based on the idea that there will never be a repeat of the scenery during each season.
New Tatami Dining
You can enjoy your meal while gazing at the illuminated dry landscape garden, and there is a Showa-era minibar in the anteroom of the next room.
bedroom
The space is a Showa-era modern Art Deco space created by incorporating authentic materials, and is based on the five elements theory and takes into consideration the health benefits of using a western pillow, sleeping space, lighting, etc.

*We have tried to preserve as much of the Tsubonakagawa River as possible from when the building was relocated. Because it is an important building, there are some areas where traffic flow is not smooth, such as the washroom and changing areas, due to layout restrictions. Please also note that the building is not barrier-free.
Reservations will be accepted from November 9, 2024.
"Okudogo Ichiyu no Mamoru" is about 10 minutes by car from Dogo Onsen. This is a hot spring inn located in the deep valley of the Ishite River. The large open-air bath "Suimei no Yu" boasts a site area of approximately 1,500 square meters, one of the largest in western Japan, and allows you to enjoy a beautiful panorama of nature. In addition, you can enjoy touring the hot springs unique to our hotel, which boasts an abundant amount of hot water, such as 5 types of ``private open-air baths'' with different bathtubs and ``rooms with open-air baths'' where you can enjoy hot springs at any time you like. For dinner, we offer a dinner buffet and Kaiseki cuisine made with ingredients from Ehime Prefecture. Especially at the dinner buffet, there is also live cooking of steaks, nigiri sushi, pasta, etc. You can enjoy the real pleasure of buffet. A breakfast buffet is also available.
