The event will begin with a special lecture by the current president, who personally oversaw the business succession.
This program explores how a company successfully navigated business succession without a proper handover process, overcoming management crises, organizational reforms, and new ventures. You can learn about the specific processes and decision-making processes from the perspective of the business owner themselves. Furthermore, the program delves into the reasons for the company's continued growth as a long-established enterprise, and its practical implementation of technological innovation and organizational reform as a manufacturing company, providing visitors with invaluable management insights backed by real-world experience.

Factory Tour

the tour moves onto the factory floor, where visitors can observe the company’s core technologies in action. Participants view three major processes—welding, plating, and pipe‑bending—up close in the real production environment. By watching the precise movements of skilled technicians, hearing the sounds of the manufacturing line, and witnessing the intensity of sparks and the beauty of finished metal, visitors gain a vivid appreciation of Japanese craftsmanship. Each process includes explanations from on‑site specialists, offering valuable insight into how quality is created on the factory floor and providing an educational understanding of the principles that underpin Japan’s metal processing industry.

Inside the factory, rows of "Neji-yan," original characters made from screws using metalworking techniques, are lined up. These playful creations, unique to Japanese manufacturing, are popular as photo spots during factory tours.

During the welding experience, visitors can enjoy creating their own “Neji‑yan,” an original character made entirely from metal screws. This hands‑on program combines technical skill with playful creativity, offering a rare opportunity to feel how metal instantly fuses together using real welding equipment. The chance to witness and experience this process on the factory floor provides an authentic behind‑the‑scenes glimpse into Japanese craftsmanship.

With guidance from on‑site staff, participants of all backgrounds—from international corporate groups to students and first‑time makers—can take part with confidence. This hands‑on activity invites visitors to express their creativity by crafting their own original “Neji‑yan” character from metal screws, offering an enjoyable introduction to Japanese craftsmanship on the factory floor.

Next up is a pipe bending experience. It may look easy at first glance, but skilled technique is essential to create a beautiful curve in the pipe. If you try to bend it using only your hands, the pipe may break midway.
Therefore, in actual workshops, specialized machinery is used for bending. Participants will also be able to use this machinery and experience firsthand how metal is transformed into smooth curves.

Watching an ordinary metal pipe transform into a beautifully curved shape through the skill and tools of experienced technicians is one of the highlights of the tour, offering a powerful reminder that Japanese metal processing is driven not by force but by technique. On the factory floor, visitors also receive clear explanations of bending principles, safety points, and material characteristics—learning why pipes may crack and how professionals create smooth, flawless curves. During the tour, you will hear directly from the current president about business succession and the challenges of new ventures. The president joined the company in 2007 after learning production technology at a major heavy industry manufacturer. In 2014, following the sudden death of the previous president, he took over the business at the age of 32. He started in a chaotic state with no handover documents and not even knowing where the company seal was. Furthermore, inside with enormous debt, the president continued to actively pursue new business development and organizational reform.
This tour allows you to learn about the realities of business succession and the reform process from the CEO himself.
