How to make a reservation

Reservations are required to use Fumotoppara.

There are some points to keep in mind when making a reservation. First, reservations can be made from about two months before the day of use. Also, reservations are only accepted at a set time, starting at 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month.

To make a reservation, you must first register as a member. This is a one-time procedure, and from the next time onwards, your registered information will be automatically reflected, saving you time. After registering as a member, you can complete your reservation by simply selecting the desired dates and plan and entering the required information.

Because it is a popular campsite, we recommend making reservations early, especially during periods when it is expected to be busy. To ensure a smooth reservation, it is a good idea to keep these points in mind.

From the campsite, there are no obstructions such as forests, so you can see Mt. Fuji clearly from the top to the base. However, if you get too close in search of a great view of Mt. Fuji, the trees can block your view, making it difficult to see the whole mountain, so be careful.

A vast and natural campsite

The biggest attraction of Fumotoppara Campground is its vast space. Boasting an area of approximately 30 hectares, you can enjoy camping in a relaxed atmosphere amidst the open grasslands. As it is a private site, you can set up your tent wherever you like, with a sense of privacy at your disposal. With beautiful views of Mt. Climbing Mount Kenashi

We recommend climbing Mount Kenashi, which is 1,964m above sea level and was selected as one of Japan's 200 famous mountains. From the ridgeline, you can see the majestic Mount Fuji and the Asagiri Plateau, which is sure to be a valuable experience! However, the difference in elevation is about 1,100m, and the general course time is about 6 hours round trip, making it suitable for intermediate and advanced climbers, so be sure to prepare thoroughly before climbing.

MTB (Mountain Bike)

At Fumotoppara, you can also rent mountain bikes (MTBs) to explore the surrounding fields and mountain trails. Recommended for those looking for a more active experience.

Mountain bike trails are not shown on maps, so you will need to check in at the management building and receive an explanation of the trails. However, it has been a long time since the trails were completed, so be sure to pay attention to the road conditions when riding.
