Yumura Onsen is a hot spring resort located in the northwest of Hyogo Prefecture, in the San'in region on the Sea of Nihon Sea side. It is said to have been discovered by Jikaku Daishi about 1,200 years ago. It is famous for its 98 degree hot spring water called "Arayu," and making hot spring eggs here is a tourist attraction.
The hot spring is a sodium chloride sulfate bicarbonate spring, and is weakly alkaline. It is gentle on the skin, and after bathing, you will feel warm from the inside out. It is effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, poor circulation, fatigue recovery, and skin problems.

What is Onsen Musume?
