Wakura 's "Kagaya" has been ranked first 41 times out of 48 times in the "Top 100 Japanese Hotels and Inns Selected by Professionals" and is known as the best inn in Japan. The four accommodation facilities of the Kagaya Group in Nanao City , Ishikawa Prefecture , have been forced to close due to the recent earthquake, but the restaurant inn " Kanazawa Chaya" in Kanazawa City City is still open. In addition to its convenient location just a 3-minute walk from the Noto Exit of Kanazawa Station, the inn offers Kaga cuisine made with seasonal ingredients from Kaga and Noto, pure Japanese-style rooms decorated with traditional crafts such as Wajima lacquerware, and the best "Kagaya-style hospitality" in Japan, making it a popular choice with loyal fans. "Steak Kaiseki Noto Peninsula " opened in the middle of March 2025 inside Kanazawa Tea House. The menu is a single kaiseki course that combines steak with creative dishes that express traditional Japanese cuisine in a free form, created by Chef Sakon of the inn "Aenokaze" in Wakura. The main course is a fillet steak made from Japanese black beef, which is aged and extremely tender, and the dishes, which use an abundance of seasonal ingredients from Noto, add color to the dish. Another attraction is the "Specialty Nakanoto Herbal Tea" made with fresh herbs that is served after the meal.
