The windmill at Sakura Hometown Square was built in 1994 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sakura City.
This is an authentic Dutch windmill designed by a Dutch engineer. The landscape, particularly where it overlaps with the flower fields, has become immensely popular as a stunning spot for Instagram photos.
Additionally, the tulip display boasts approximately 600,000 blooms, making it one of the largest in the Kanto region. This year, around 100 varieties of tulips will be showcased, including fragrant, color-changing, and variegated types.
At Saranka's stall in Sakura Hometown Square, you'll find soft-serve ice cream made with locally produced milk. It remains to be a popular treat.
During the tulip festival, local restaurants and food trucks will also set up stalls. Tulip cookies, Miffy cookies, and Miffy merchandise are expected to be available for purchase.

Sakura Hometown Square is adjacent to Lake Inbanuma, one of Chiba Prefecture's premier scenic spots.
As a result, sightseeing boats will operate on Lake Inbanuma during weekends of the tulip festival (April 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20).
Visitors can enjoy a scenic boat ride on the lake (the ride lasts approximately 40 minutes, with tickets priced at 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children).

There are very few hotels around the nearest stations—Keisei Sakura Station and Keisei-Usui Station—for the Sakura Tulip Festival 2025.
Therefore, we recommend the Wishton Hotel Yukari, which is close to the event venue and surrounded by ample commercial facilities.
The hotel is directly connected to Yukarigaoka Station. It is also about 8 minutes away from Keisei Sakura Station, where temporary direct buses to the venue operate.
The area around the hotel is well-equipped with shopping malls and restaurants, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.
