What is Shima Green Adventure?

Shima Green Adventure opened in Shima City , Mie Mie Prefecture in July 2024 with the theme of enjoying physical activity in nature. It consists of a "glamping field" where you can stay overnight in an extraordinary space surrounded by nature, and an "attraction field" where you can get physical and play while enjoying the great outdoors. Utilizing a vast area of ​​land that was formerly a golf course, it offers an outstanding sense of freedom. As it is located far from the city center, it is not exactly easy to access, but this makes up for the fact that it allows you to forget about your daily life and refresh yourself.

We will introduce each of the "Glamping Field" and "Attraction Field" in detail!

Attraction Field

This attraction field is made up of four areas with a total of 20 different attractions. Everyone from children to adults can get moving while enjoying the great outdoors. The climbing tower on the left of the image is the world's first and largest attraction, standing 15m high and offering 127 different thrills and spectacular views. The approximately 620m zip line is also extremely exhilarating! There are also plenty of attractions for small children to enjoy, such as grass slides and swings.

①Wind Area

The "Wind Area" is an area where you can enjoy the breeze while having fun on the zip line and athletic tower.

This zip dive boasts the longest face-down zip line in Japan, stretching at approximately 620m. The thrill of sliding down a height difference of approximately 50m is something you won't find anywhere else!

The zip line is also open at night as part of the "Night Zip Dive" program. Fly through the Ozora and enjoy views you can't see during the day, such as the starry sky and illuminated fields!

The Climbing Tower is a 15m tall athletic tower with 127 different activities to enjoy while experiencing thrills and spectacular views. Come and enjoy one of the world's largest athletic towers!

We've introduced two thrilling attractions, but there are also attractions that children and those who are afraid of thrilling attractions can enjoy. The exhilarating feeling of sliding down the slope that makes use of the undulating terrain of a former golf course is irresistible. The net athletics facility consists of six zones, including a zone just for small children, so everyone can enjoy it.

②Green area

You can relax in the green area surrounded by trees and grass.

Harmony House is a treehouse where you can enjoy harmony with nature with all five senses. Both small children and adults can play safely.

There are attractions that will captivate both children and adults, such as putt-putt golf and Mölkky, a physical board game originating from Scandinavia.

③Earth Area

This is a survival game area where you can race through the great outdoors. It is Japan's first outdoor survival game using an infrared system. Since it uses infrared guns, both beginners and experienced players can play safely. There is also a private field that can be enjoyed just by family and friends.

The experience lasts 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 10 and up.

④Sun Area

This is an observation area where you can see the entire facility and the majestic Ago Bay. There are also photo spots and an observation deck. The evening view of Ago Bay has been selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan, and is especially recommended for photography in the evening.

Glamping Field

The glamping field is located on the vast grounds of a former golf course and consists of three types of accommodation: the Luxury Building, the Building with Dog Run, and the Regular Building. The starry sky, barefoot grass, and beautiful sunsets are soothing to the soul. It's also great that you can choose the room type that best suits your lifestyle.

Luxury Building

As the name "Luxury" suggests, this private villa boasts an exquisitely luxurious space of approximately 2,000 square meters, complete with a private garden and pool. The luxury building, which is limited to two groups per day, is equipped with a barrel sauna and offers a sense of openness with an ocean view. This spacious building is perfect for relaxing with just two people, or for a fun and affordable stay with a large group.

Building with dog run

There is a private dog run of approximately 1,000 m2 where you can spend special time with your beloved dog.

Regular Building

The food is gorgeous! A luxurious BBQ using fresh local ingredients

The food at Shima Green Adventure Glamping is also special. Each building has its own barbecue space, so you can enjoy a relaxing meal in your own private space.

Enjoy a barbecue-style dinner, where you can fully enjoy nature and delicious food!

For dinner, you can choose from three different BBQ courses. There is also a premium menu featuring Matsusaka beef and Ise lobster, so you can choose according to your budget and purpose. There is also a kids' menu available, so groups with small children can rest assured.

Business hours and fees

As of March 2026, it is open from 10:00 to 17:00. However, there are days when the attraction field is closed, so please check the opening hours using the link below.

The admission fee is 3,300 yen for adults (12 to 64 years old), 2,200 yen for children (6 to 11 years old) and seniors (65 years old and over). Zip diving and climbing towers incur additional fees. For more information, please check the official website.

If you are traveling by train, the nearest station is Ugata Station. A free direct bus runs from Ugata Station and takes about 10 minutes to get there. It takes about 2.5 hours from Osaka Namba and about 2 hours from Nagoya to Ugata Station.

"Charcoal Grilled Eel Mount Higashiyama Products"

The eel is grilled over Ise Shima binchotan charcoal until it's crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The secret sauce brings out the deliciousness of the eel. It's a popular restaurant that always has a line, but it's definitely worth a visit!

"Isokko Shima's Eating Spot"

The most delicious cuts of fresh local fish from Ise Shima are carefully selected and served as sashimi. The large fried shrimp set is very popular.
